Nice blue for Maggie Manx, and I hope she will surf this morning as I need to get some labwork done - not far away though! She is in a very playful mood this morning, staring at the pole toy hinting it's play time. We had lots of play time already this morning. All P's in place, even lb, plenty of action in both boxes. One box is for #1 and the big box is for #2! She won't do both things in one box?? confused_cat Thanks Michelle, Christie and Kerrie for visiting my condo after I crashed and went to bed. I gave her an ear break for the pm cycle, as I knew she would be okay, and I'm awaiting strips. Christie, I have a question about using the Freestyle Lite strips in the ATrak. I was wondering if you get the same reading with the Freestyle strips with the ATrak vs. AT strips with ATrak meter?

Hilarious that she uses a different litter box HAHA. What goes through their minds :lol:

Hi Karrie - with the two boxes - when I had my GA kitty, they had separate boxes. GA kitty used one box for both things, and Maggie had her little box for herself but also used the big box for #2! Maybe it's the prissy thing with a girl kitty!

That cracks me up, about the litter boxes! She's very organized.

I never in a million years thought about using different meters with different strips..like the meter would explode or something if I tried it! :lol: :lol: So I have no input on that one except my amazement that it can be done!

Nice AMPS, Maggie! I think Chaos might like to hang out with you and Raja today, swing by and grab him up!

Morning! What a nice amps for Maggie manx.

Too funny on the two LB's. :-D Cats never cease to amaze me.

No clue on the meters... Maggie and Raja will have to get together and compare notes - us inquiring beans want to know the results!

Hmmm...well Ms. Maggie is deciding to have a flat day, probably due to Bean error. She had Merrick Cowboy Cookout yesterday, and I believe it raised her bg. Also this morning, trying to release a bubble, I may have not gotten a full half unit in her. One nice thing is I can feel comfortable leaving this morning, and I may leave just a little Cowboy Cookout along with her Sophisticat very lc chopped grill.

I think Chaos might like to hang out with you and Raja today, swing by and grab him up!

Hi Michelle, yes, aren't they strange sometimes with their quirks! Mannie can come, too, and join in on the meter party. Christie mentioned the different strips with the AT...should be interesting.

Oh boy, no more Merick Cowbow Cookout food for Maggie. She had some yesterday and then again earlier when I had to go out for a while! Although it's not overly high in carbs, it's the ingredients in it that I find odd - it has beef, beef broth, liver, all good but then ...fresh sweet potato, fresh carrots, fresh snow peas, fresh Granny smith apples, dried egg, dried blueberry, etc. I know quite a few feed their cats this food, but ECID, and it must not jive with Maggie Manxy. It's back to plain ole Merrick chicken.

Hey, Ann! Flat cycle for Maggie today... hopefully means more action is around the corner!

I did not get the same number when using the freestyle lite strips in the AT meter. They tended to be 30-40 points off (with the freestyle lite being lower). The reason the freestyle lite strips will work is that the alphatrak is just a slightly modified version of the freestyle lite. That's why I would probably go ahead and get the 25 freebie strips and I would pick a lower cycle to do the comparison. The variation is less meaningful in the higher numbers... in the grand scheme of things, you really don't need to know precisely the difference between 320 and 370. It's just pink. However, in the greens, those differences are much more important.

Thanks Christie and Nicole for stopping by our condo.

Maggie Pie has decided to stay flat today, going a bit high with the +6. I'm blaming it partly on the Merrick Cowboy Cookout and my shot this morning. Otherwise, she is happy, playful, sunbathing today and just taking another nap on the carpet in fron of the TV. I guess the news is boring to her!
