Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

We finally get a Rusty-like AMPS number and I shoot fur!! Naturally that would happen!. The good news is that Rusty is back to his old self. He slept with us all night, contributed to his lb., had a good breakfast (2 sittings), AND, a GREAT PLAY with Big Bug to start the day. Now he is sitting on the radiator observing what is going on outside (not much). I am so pleased that he seems to be over his doldrums. Hopefully the fur shot won't be too much of a setback. I didn't take his dose up to .75, but kept it at a fat 0.5 (not that that matters this morning!).

Dang on the furshot. They are just so frustrating.

I'm so happy to hear Rusty is perking up for you guys today. That put a smile on my face this morning. Keep it up Rusty!

Darn, sorry about the fur shot. It's hard with the long haired kitties isn't it? Hope it doesn't set Rusty back much and he recovers tonight.

Sorry about the fur shot, Ella. Rusty will be back on track before you know it. Beautiful amps. :smile:

Playing in the outdoors is going to be fantastic for you guys, as it's getting slightly warmer. Not that you and Edward mind this horrid cold :-D

Nice AMPS Rusty! The PMPS might not be so hot, but hey, he will be back on track in no time. Clear out that old shed and build a new one! Good boy Rusty! Hope you have a happy Friday Ella! :YMHUG:

well bummer on the fur shot - Sorry!, but he'll recover soon. Very nice amps - more like the Rusty we all know. I am so glad that he is back to his old self - too bad they can't tell us what had them out of sorts...

Plans for you today? Snowshoeing? XCountry ski? Just a short local walk?

Glad to see Rusty is back to his ole playful side. Even if it's a fur shot, he still has great numbers. Have fun today.

Ella,

So glad to hear that he had a fine vet check. What a surprise to have the vet say much younger than we though,WOW. Means a good long life with you and Edward. The breed easily lives to 20.

Somewhere in the records is a "senior panel" blood work set done as a baseline while I had him. If you don't find it, I will see if I kept a copy. Since they thought he was 10+, the panel was more extensive than for regular adult cats. Nice to be able to compare with what your vet will run.

Sorry about the fur shot, but theses things pass. I'm glad he is feeling perkier and playing. I know i (tried ) to post yesterday, but I was on the iPod. ohmygod_smile

Thanks, guys, for your fur-shot support! Rusty had a good day and does seem to be himself again. He only climbed about 50 points and I hope that the shed will soon be rebuilt and we can work on getting back to really good numbers again.
This evening the local artists' guild held a benefit for the local humane society and it was well attended. I hope they got lots of cash contributions, and the artists donated paintings for a silent auction, proceeds of which will go to the humane society.

All for now. I didn't do anything today except walk to the post office (and grocery shop in the afternoon). Tomorrow is the big winter carnival parade. Afterwards our group will have another little party (we have decided that before summer arrives we have to have at least 20 parties). So far we have had 6! (a party is defined as a gathering with food and drink).

To visit condos now. Everyone have a good start to the weekend,

I'm really glad to hear Rusty is acting like his old self. I bought the same toy the other day for Maverick but using it probably takes practice. I can't remember the real name for it - the cardboard on the wire. I'm thinking of putting it on the wall next to Maverick's cube. He's sleeping in it now too.

He'll be back to the lower numbers in no time.

I LOVE the 20 parties - why not! Sounds great, enjoy the carnival tomorrow - I like your town - there is always something going on - it's great!

And Rusty? back to better numebrs for you - no fur shot tonight, so down you go. I am glad that he is back to being Rusty.
