2/12 Willie PMPS 149, +3~190, +4~213

Yesterday's Condo

Sorry we didn't get to visit any LL friends yesterday... Walked in the door, did Willie's business, cooked/ate dinner and promptly fell asleep on the sofa. Gah! We will visit everyone this afternoon after tennis!

Willie seems to be liking the new dose... though he was 161 at +4 last night, which had me rethinking the increase. But on the last dose, he saw lots of blue, but little if any greens (likely at night when I was asleep). He continues to do well, though he has been scratching the heck out of his face, so he looks a hot mess. May stop by the vet today or tomorrow (24 hour clinic) and see if they will give my a lampshade thingy. He'll be mad, but....

Stitches continue to heal okay, and energy levels continue to improve.... for both of us! LOL Lots of cuddles last night and today. Life in Willieland is good.

Your boy is looking good.. very happy for you both. I hope you are enjoying tennis, weather is woderful & it sounds like this week will be nice too.
I am frusturated with the Advocate.. I don't want to waste Baby's ear.. what is the best way to get the blood on the strip? I tried & never got a reading so went back to the Relion, I am hopeful I can transition to the new meter since the strips are are soooo very cheap!!! but I wont do it at the risk of her ear...

Hi, Christie.. I just read your post in Health on this meter.. I think I am going to stick with the Relion.. I hate the idea of it needing a bigger drop of blood, I have always been successful with Baby's ears looking untouched & I don't even have to put cream or ointment on them.. I like the drop of blood for the Relion & don't want to chance hurting her lil ears ;-) wanted to update you so you didn't type out another response :lol:

Hi Christie and Willie! Happy weekend! What nice numbers for Willie - it looks like he likes the new dose. It's always so nice to see results. SWEET!

Good luck with the collar - my guys never have like them either - but, if it helps with the scratching etc... Poor Willie! You're still waiting for results on this, yes? It is so nice to read that the stitches are healing well, and that his energy levels are up. great news!
