I must be tired because I tried to put the test strip into the top of my cell phone this morning. :lol:
As I was fighting to measure the dose, I noticed that the zero line seemed to be right at the tippy top of the syringe, where normally there is a little room between the zero line and the very top. This is not the time to have funky syringes.
I looked at the other syringe that I took out of the pack for tonight's shot and it looks normal. I didn't think to just throw the syringe I had away and start a new one..now, I'm thinking I should have done that. Oh well..

When I went to bed, J.D. and I had to have some cuddling time and he purred up a storm, and he woke me up purring and laying on top of my head (and I mean with his belly against my scalp, his throat on my nose, and the bottom of his chin on my mouth). He even purred through his test. He has eaten his first breffis, and is now in his bed by the window.

Don't feel bad, Dyana. I have checked my BG meter for text messages before. We depend on both our cell phones and BG meters, it's natural to get the two confused! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I am having a nice giggle visualizing JD's sleeping pose from last night. Do you have fur up your nose this AM? This is precisely why our bedroom is a cat-free zone. I could put up with cats on my head, but DH? no way!

JD, come down from there. We need you in good shape for Raja and Shadow and Chaos's big birthday party tomorrow! party_cat

Actually J.D. does this all the time, it's quite warm and soft and furry and nice Sometimes I can hear his heart beating and it's quite fast. Eventually, he gets off my head or I gently move him, and he ends up wrapped around the side of my head with his chin resting against my cheek.

I hope so, but he does have to come to work with me today, and I have to start getting ready, so he'll know in a minute when I drag his cat supplies bag and carrier out what's going to happen, soon

I can't get over what a good sport J.D. is about going to work with you once a week. He's such a good boy. :smile:

Sorry about the funky syringe. I know that has happened to me before. I never noticed it until Lucy got down to very teeny doses, but then I noticed it so often that I wondered how often I had bad syringes before and didn't notice. You would think they would have to make those things accurate, but I guess not.

J.D. was cute sleeping under my desk. Sometimes, he gets bored and meows and tries to get my attention by scratching at my chair and biting me on the knees, and he sometimes wanders around a little, restlessly, when there are no hoomans around.
He is happy to be home. I took a sleeping pill, so I can get a good night's sleep tonight, or half of one hopefully :roll:
J.D. was making it very difficult for me to post this tonight, because he jumped up on my computer desk and kept his big body in front of the screen so I couldn't see anything.

Guess he figures he did not have your undivided attention all day so the puter was off limits tonight. Hope you get a good night's sleep. Not a bad day for the working boy.

I thought that was pretty funny -- laughed til I cried -- and then I read Violet's post about checking her BG meter for text messages. Laughed til I cried and could not breathe. I don't have this problem, b/c I refuse to text. Really.

Hope you guys have a really good night. Looks like J.D. feels good from those #s. I could always tell when Tink's #s were down, and now the same with Tawny, they just act like they feel better.
