Good Morning, Everyone,

It's -13 F. here this morning and Rusty is camped out next to the radiator (the cold air coming in from outside has kept even Rusty from sitting on the radiator!!). But we're expected to go up to the upper teens today, so it should be a good afternoon for skiing. Rusty had a good night. At one point he woke me up because he was grooming himself right next to my ear! First sitting of breakfast has been eaten. I have to take DH to his yoga class now, but Rusty and I will have our morning game session as soon as I get back. Yesterday evening I shaved Rusty's dose back down to a "regular" 0.5. We'll see what happens over the next few days. I just have a feeling that he is finishing with the fattened dose.

Tori, Rocket, Whiskers, Willow and all other kitties not feeling well are in our thoughts this morning.

Good morning guys and BURRRRR -13?? That is just to cold ... I hope you enjoy your ski if it warms up enough and I hope rusty continues to do so well on less juice ... have a great day guys!

I am getting quite tired of this cold weather. At least you get out and enjoy the winter, which I'm sure makes it go faster.

-13? OK, that is way too cold.... However, the teens and skiing sound excellent. I hope you can go. We have sun at the moment, though they say we are to get cold, for us, at 20-35 for the next few days. might even see a flake or two... wouldn't that be something. it won't do much except wreck havoc with traffic.....

Hey Rusty!!!! Today is Donovan's birthday! You wanna maybe go celebrate with him? We can make the cinnamon cake, and have a party. I want too to take the KTSS and go and visit Tori. She is so sick, and I am worried about her. I hope we can make her feel better. See you soon? ~~ Mannie

Ella, I was going to say "hang on, tomorrow's gonna be in the 20's", but that's a heat wave for your and skiing. :smile:

Ella, I have no idea how you brave the weather, and then actually want to go out and ski in it! It's freezing here and I'm dreading driving anywhere, let alone going out in it on purpose! :lol: I'm such a wimp.

Great AMPS for Mr. Rusty today! Looking good, buddy. I love how you have a regular game time with him in the mornings. We are starting that here too, and Chaos is having a blast!

I see that our group is doing a ski trip tomorrow, so today I'll just take a walk (and do some grocery shopping). It's a cold, beautiful day here today: brilliant sunshine.

I'm thinking of going back to a fat 0.5 tonight. Been reading Libby's advice from the other day again, and was reading Sienne's advice in Mocha's condo today, and unless we get a substantially lower nadir later today, I may add the fat back on. I don't want Rusty to lose momentum (but I don't want him to have big bounces, either; it's a balancing act for sure).

We have a nice number for +9 (69). The fat 0.50 shed is still in effect, and I think I will go back to a fat 0.50 this evening (after 2 cycles on a regular 0.5). I want to keep the momentum.
Rusty had a nice brushing by his papabean this afternoon and we had a good play with Big Bug in the late morning.

crazy temps aside, sounds like a lovely day at Rusty's house (as my friend from SC would say, "who the heck stole all the degrees?!? and when can we have them back?!?)! Willie likes to camp out by the radiators too!

Hope you got and enjoyed the fresh air! Beautiful numbers for Rusty today!

Elle, I'm so glad that you are enjoying the weather...at least some one is, lol It's very cold here and last night we had such a snow storm. I was so glad that I was home safe and sound, but my crew managers were out and about in it and I was worried sick for them and for my consumers. But they all made it home....later than usual, but home safe!

Rusty, my man, you are certainly looking good! Nice greens there today. I hope that you can continue on that path so your mamabean is happy!

Oh, btw...nice hat!!!

YAY Rusty!!! Nice green. No dose advice - but logic has it that the decision is a good one. he's had great numbers today. I don't blame you for not wanting to loos momentum.

I love the hat - that is nice! too funny on celi's photo. :lol:

Enjoy your walk today - skiing tomorrow then. It is so nice that you can enjoy winter as much as you do.

:lol: Celi, that cat looks so Russian that it is positively scary!! (glad you like my new hat; I'm wearing it tomorrow!).

I added the fat back on to Rusty's dose. We'll see where it takes us. I was particularly inspired by Sienne's comment in Mocha's condo today that we should keep a good dose as long as possible because it is healing to the pancreas. Libby said essentially the same thing the other day in Rusty's condo, but I wasn't thinking along those lines then. I was just thinking of big bounces following a slightly lower range of numbers. Well, now we're back to the old, slightly higher, dose, after 24 hours. Thank you Libby and Sienne!!!
