Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232

Hi Lisa; I am so sorry you are having a hard time right now. I hope it gets better. It's hard to live with severe pain, yet when we do get relief from a pain med, there are always the potential side effects. Hang in there. It's great you can be there for DoLou's relatives but sorry to hear someone has diabetes. Take care.

Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232

Good morning lisa .. do not feel like you have to apologize .. if you are sick or not feeling good your first priority should be taking care of you and getting better ... it's nice to see do lou in sunny yellow and I hope he shows some greens off today .. have a great day guys!

Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232

Lisa, no apologies neccessary, you need to focus on yourself and getting better. Sorry you're having a difficult time of it, I hope it eases soon.

Good morning, Lisa! I'm so sorry you're feeling lousy. I hope the doctors can find you something that works for you. You can borrow my theme song from last summer, which I spent on the couch hoping for some kind of pain relief:

DL is coming down nicely for you today, I'll bet some blue is right around the corner. I hope you're able to help DL's sugar kitty relative.

Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232+2 201

Aw Lisa...it is good to see you today...and three cheers for YOU! What you are going through is NOT easy...so, here's
a HUG from us (((((Lisa))))) :YMHUG:
+2 looks like Do Lou is trying to head to the blues! Hope you both have a good day!

Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232+2 201

Hi Lisa, We all know that you are "here", so no worries about not posting regularly. Just feel better! Nice start to Do Lou's day. So sorry to hear that one of his relatives has developed diabetes. You are in a unique position to help the kitty and his/her beans. I hope that all will go well.
Have a good day, get some rest, and feel better and better as the day progresses.

Hugs,
Ella & Rusty

Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232+2 201

Thank you all so much love you guys ((((HUGS)))) I have already heard from Do Lou's guess you could almost call him like a brother really it was a repeat breeding of Do Lou's breeding way back in the day so they both have the same parents. Anyway he said they have always thought dry was best but they that Louie loves canned so getting him to wet should not be a problem and they want to do as much possible to get him back to good health I have no more info for now but like I mentioned before I must have sent him 8 links so I know he is overwhelmed right now .

Nice looking numbers there, Do Lou. I hope you're feeling better soon, Lisa.

Re: 2/23 Do Lou amps 232+2 201+4 181

I hope you feel better soon - I am sorry that you are having a hard time getting off the pain meds. I hope it improves soon.

Bummer on another diabetic, but at least you will be a great resource for them. I hope they will join us here.

Looks like a nice day shaping up for Do Lou - blue already. Go Do Lou!

Hi, Lisa & Dewey Louie :YMHUG:
I missed you yesterday, no worries about being gone.. it sounds like you need to take care of you right now.. bless your heart, I hate to hear you are in pain & having to come of the medication continues to be a challenge. I wish for you both continued, better days! Nice +4 ;-)

pmps 182 he is doing great tonight just ate dinner

I think the Bean is starting to feel more human again  I had cut back last week and then just stopped abruptly on sat this slow weaning is just as bad as going cold turkey last year with M anyway I am on day 4 of nothing and I think I am over the worst (anti-jinx) I see my pain dr next week so we can pow wow about my next options which I know I am pretty much out of since the 2 I have weaned off are at the top of the pain med totem pole

Do Lou is looking good tonight!

I hope you have continued success in weaning yourself off the meds. I can only imagine how difficult that much be. Fingers and paws crossed that you will continue to be able to successfully manage your pain.

Have a good night!

(((((Lisa))))) I couldn't imagine chronic pain. My heart goes out to you. I have a friend that has a pain pump. Its a real high tech thing thats implanted.

I was reading your website for your cats last night. I loved reading about DL there also. Its good that you are in touch with DL brother's owners. I hope they join here.

Thank you Karrie most of my pain is my own fault from power lifting for almost 10 yrs jeez if I could turn bk the clock and not do what I did I used to be like Shera princess of Power  I know I spelled her name wrong but anyway I used to be so strong and I now need both my knees replaced and have needed it done since my late 30s but I was just too young so I had knee sx on both knees to help them a bit have had both rotator cuffs repaired and my DH thinks this is why my thumbs are so bad and deformed now I have trouble getting off the toilet  me knees hurt so much but I just keep going its hard to hike steep grade I have to go sooo slow and use sticks for support I really tore my joints up and before that I was a runner. Sooo I need to go bk to my knee dr since I am getting close to 50 now hoping he will be ready to replace both my knees would love to go ahead and do it while I am not working scared in a way too since I had over 5 sx in a 2 yr span in 2006-7 and well just have not been in a hurry to get cut on plus its my ortho dr that sent me to pain management to stall for time. Glad you liked my site I need to work on it some more

Hi Lisa,

Don't worry Lisa your never far from our hearts. I hope you feel better soon. Pain is no fun, and we still have to fulfill our duties as mama bean too. It's not easy. Just take care of yourself.

Good luck to DL's relative that is diabetic. At least you have all these resourses to send. Maybe we will see them on the board. I'm sure your knowledge will help them out a lot.

Sending you feel better vines.

jan and sara

Lisa, being someone who has to deal with pain, my heart aches for you. I can't even compare my problem with yours. I'm so sorry you have to deal with withdrawal, as well as the pain.
Please don't feel you need to explain or apologise, although I do the same, because I don't want people to think I'm ignoring them. I also feel out of the loop, when I can't do all the condos I want.
Please just take care of yourself. (((Lisa)))

The owners of Do Lou's diabetic relative(s?) are lucky that they have your expertise to learn from. I hope they do will with their kitty's care.
