Suspected we'd see some action today based on that +2. My work at home agreement was approved yesterday, so I am working from home today, no matter how hard Willie tries to convince me that I need a nap. We are currently parked on the sofa, where Willie is rotating his nap spot as the sun moves through the sky and creates a new warm patch. Thus far, I've been able to deflect his attempts to "help," working with some large files today and all I need is Willie to decide to try to refile things! :lol: :lol:
Will be able to stop working right on time and get some cleaning done before picking up a package at UPS (just missed them earlier!) and then heading to my tennis lesson. My brother has decided they may drive up tomorrow night instead of Friday morning, which means I suddenly have a lot more I need to get done!!!
Will probably be later before I can catch up on condos... my boss isn't the hugest fan of me working at home, so I feel like I have to work extra hard to start.

He has had a good day! Got booted from the fire escape because he kept wanting to visit higher floors and I just didn't have time to monitor him, so he was a bit grouchy with me. Otherwise, he's been napping most of the afternoon and just hanging out with his bean getting pets. It's a hard-knock life, I'm tellin ya.
On the fence about whether to go to tennis tonight. While I'm paying ALOT for the classes, I'm not feeling great, my brother just announced he may be coming tomorrow night instead of friday afternoon and I'm seriously behind on cleaning and laundry, and now Willie may need some extra pokes tonight. I did feed him 8% (friskies... he's THRILLED) out the gate to slow down any sudden drops. Yeah, he's eaten one round, taken a trip to the LB, and is figuring out how much more he can stuff in his kittenface. At least he left some in the bowl....
He's also very excited about his new water mug... When he was a baby, my ex would leave a glass of water on the nightstand every night because he always got thirsty in the middle of the night (sad that I remember a time with no water bottles in my lifetime). When Willie moved in with us, he would always try to drink out of the glass... which resulted in spills, cries, heads stuck in the glass, etc. He refused to drink out of a pet bowl, so after about a week of his 2am shenanigans, we went to old time pottery and got him a large mocha mug. he never touched the glass on the nightstand again, and still drinks from the same mug today. Found an even bigger one the other day, so now he has one for the living/dining room too. he is pleased.
Yeah, tennis is out. Better run my other errands so I can get back to monitor any action!

Great story about the water mugs. Willie knows what he wants--a mug like the beans have! Sorry you had to miss tennis, but it's nice that you can see your brother.
