3/26 Atlas PMPS 133, +4 126

Good Caturday Morning!!!!

Busy yesterday and a busy day today with 8 visits on the schedule for a Saturday, plus a consultation with several beagles. Now 8 visits isn't too overwhelming until one realizes one stop is 5 animals!!! 3 cats and 2 dogs. And it is the first visit for them of their vacation sit. Those always make me nervous...as you can't be too sure how the dogs will react the first time.

Attie is a little high this morning and a bit impatient. Gary was fussing at the door working on some towel tug of war and Attie went over there and hissed at him several times to knock it off. I put a few play mice on the rolled up towel to settle things down. Attie was funny, in he started purring the minute I walked over to him at the door.

Lantus itches...man my finger itched for a good half hour....

As silly as it sounds...I'm glad I have a BG meter with test strips to spare....

Plus it wasn't the whole dose...probably 1 unit if that.

Attie jumped and he usually doesn't. I jerked up and away and stuck the hand/finger that had made the tent.

omg.... guess it's good it wasn't a full dose, or mega units, or.... so sorry! Attie:? no jerking next time OK?

Nice cycle setting up for Attie - maybe some room yet for some greens?

Glad you guys like the new avatar. That was a purely chance picture of him today. No flash reflection in the eyes ...so you can see how green they are.

One client called and said they are delayed...so I have 10 visits to make in the morning. That's a 5am start time.

OUCH!!!! I have stuck myself with the needle AFTER I gave a shot but never shot myself with lantus. I also love the avatar.....VERY handsome Mr. Attie!! Looks like he intends for you to get little sleep, Beth.

I don't know how you do all that AND handle a FD kitty AND a "feral". Have a good night Beth.

Attie is looking sooo beautiful these days!! Love the stories of you and your kids... can't believe you dosed yourself! Totally sounds like something I would do!!
