Sorry been rather quiet. The past week has not been particularly stellar, and LL has had its share of sadness. I keep you all in my prayers, always.

Another radiation treatment for Butthead in the morning. Hard to say whether the "new" tumor has responded yet. I do believe the older larger tumor has not changed; maybe even smaller. Butthead has been kinda restless though, almost a little confused. You never know where you'll find him, or when he'll just get up and wander off to a new location. At the moment he's on my bed.

Donovan... his BG numbers have been blue recently, and as of yesterday he hit yellow. It was 282 tonight :-|. There has been a number of pukage incidents and runny/soft poo throughout the clan, including several hurls by Donny today, and his appetite is clearly off. He barely ate anything today. He's usually a pig. The plan was to get him in for a dental ASAP, but now it appears something else is up with him. Gonna take care of that as soon as I can.

I will update more later. Please pray for both Butthead and Donovan.

you've got it, MJ. thanks for posting in punkin's condo yesterday, too. i appreciated it - and the baby food explosion made me laugh!

hope your babies are over the ickies soon.
 
Gabby just went through a bout of pukus and liquipoo. It does seem like it's making it's rounds.

Donovan and Butthead are in my thoughts. Sending vines and snowflakes for your guys.

I'm thinking of Donovan and Butthead and sending healing vines your way. You are a fantabulous mom to both and they love you!!
 
oh, MJ...i was just sitting here completely enchanted by watching Butthead's baby food video...and then realized you had a newer post.

I know this is possibly the wrong thing to say...and pardon me if I mis-speak here...but you must have an indomitable spirit, my friend.
There are folks here on the forum that never cease to amaze me with their strength in coping with struggles assailing them from so many sides,
and you are surely one of them.

My admiration for you continues to grow while my heart aches for what you must be going through physically and emotionally.
I know that this may sound like a platitude or a empty thing to say...but if there is ANYTHING that we can do to help out,
please do not hesitate for a moment to let me know.

Hold those two precious boys tight...because i suspect it is your love, care, and strength that helps them endure all they have with such
sweet, happy, and charming personalities intact!

I'm a little behind here and missed the bf explosion. Maggie is addicted to a teeny amount of Gerber chicken bf! So sorry to hear about Donovan and continued healing vibes and prayers for both Donovan and Butthead. With so much to handle right now, I know it can't be easy but don't forget to also take care of you.
 
Others like Celi have a gift for words. Butthead has made me smile every day even has he goes through this big fight. You are both an inspiration. Keeping you, Butthead and Donovan in my thoughts. Sending lots of hugs, please pass them on.
 
Healing vines and positive thoughts for Butthead's treatment and Donny's recovery from the "bug"! MJ, you are a wonderful mamabean and I hope that all will get better and better for your boys. Keep your spirits up. Those kitties are so lucky to have you!

Celi is much more eloquent than I am....I think she said what a lot of us feel. I am keeping you, Donovan and Butthead in my thoughts and sending many vines and snowflakes. Hopefully Donovan's yellow BG is due to the pukus bug, and he will get back to normal soon....paws crossed!
 
Butthead and Donovan are in my prayers. I hope Butthead continues to do well and that the tumors shrink. And I hope that Donovan's tummy problems pass quickly. ((((HUGS)))) to you MJ!
 
Just arrived at work, so quick summary now.

Donovan was wicked cranky when I got up to take Butthead to Boston, but he did eat a tiny bit this morning (Trader Joe's Tuna). His AMBG+3 was 204.

On the way to Boston, I opened up Butthead's carrier to give him some snuggles and see if he wanted to look around. He was lying there like a slug, so I thought it would cheer him up. He sat in his carseat bucket for a little while, then in the back seat, and then he settled on my lap. At Angell, I let him rubberneck in the parking lot again (more video), but there wasn't that much to see, so we went inside for his appointment.

I told the technician and vet that Butthead has seemed a tad restless/disoriented recently. He has been feeling a somewhat lighter, so they weighed him and he lost a little weight. She gave me a prescription for methylprednisolone 8 mg/mL, 0.5 mL once a day to see if there is some inflammation in his brain area causing problems. I had to wait for the prescription to be filled, so I gave him his baby food in the waiting area. I fed him portions from a spoon to try to slow him down *gulp*gulp*gulp*. We then returned to the car and sat around so he could rubberneck some more (more video). Oh, forgot to mention that radiation of the Large Tumor is done now. Today was radiation of the New Smaller Tumor. Another session next week.

On the way home, he was in his bucket for a while again, so when at a red light, I turned on the camera and aimed it at him. I held it there as I drove, so there is about ~4 min of Butthead in a Bucket while driving. This time I remembered to put fresh batteries in my camera before bringing it to work, but I forgot the darn usb cord to transfer the video :roll: So it'll have to wait until this evening.

hi MJ - You guys are alwasy in my thoughts, always. I am with a few others her that have said that celi really said what so many of us feel. I hope all is well with Donovan, and hold high hopes for Butthead. Mannie and I send as many healing vines as we can find. You are indeed one incredible bean.

Nobody says it better than Celi and like Laurie said, we all feel the same way about you and what you are going through. You always manage to visit
our condos and cheer US up. I hope the pred works for Butthead and that whatever is going on with Donny will pass and his BGs will come back down.
You have your hands full.....we will keep you all in our prayers, MJ.
 
It feels strange to have the warm fuzzies and a knot in my gut at the same time when reading about and watching the videos of Butthead. He is just so awesome and adorable, then you realize how hard you are both fighting for time. I want so much for you guys to have lots of time together, but regardless, it's hard to imagine the time you do have being any more special.

My thoughts, for you, Butthead and Donovan.

What a perfect song to start the video. I'm grinning ear to ear!! :-D Butthead is such a sweet boy in the car! I love his seat... I may have to figure out something similar if I have to do a long trip alone with Willie. He is much more, uh, dramatic in the car.

Hope treatments continue to keep Butthead stable and show improvement as well. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

MJ, Thank you for sharing Butthead with us again. He is such a good boy (I can't imagine how he got his name) and he's so cute too. I hope the pred helps him feel better. My prayers are with you and Butthead and Donnie.

Aww what a cutie pie. Butthead is so adorable in his bucket seat. Very cool to see the way he is very interested in what is happening around him as you drive. My kitties would be howling and crying or hiding and peeing. But not peeing or whizzing out the window!! (tm. Celi/Binks...Hahahaha!)

Loved his purr and kiss of the camera lens.

Technician @Angell just called to move Butthead's appt to 12 noon instead of 10 am. Probably will have to leave the house with him early anyway because the Others will absolutely not tolerate no fuds for an additional 2 hrs.

Donovan seems to be doing much better. His BGs are back to low blues. Still want to get him in for a dental and senior panel soon though.

oh, I just bought a new memory stick for my camera - 8G. Allegedly will hold ~6 hrs of video. Nevermind The Butthead Movie -- this could be The Butthead Epic Mini-Series.
