Good Morning, Everyone,

Well, we're not down much yet, but we're a little bit better than yesterday, so I hope that the new cartridge and no fur shot will bring Rusty back to his normal numbers over the course of today. He was tired last night from the trip and had a good sleep with us on the bed. This morning he has had a good test, a good shot (I think; these days I just am so apprehensive about doing a fur shot that I am overly sensitive), and has eaten both installments of breakfast. He hasn't felt like playing yet, however, and is lounging on his cushion by the radiator.
Dark and dreary here today with temps in the upper 20s and it really feels like snow. We're supposed to get between 8 and 12 inches tonight of heavy, wet, "spring" snow. I am not looking forward to it. I am now in "spring" mode and Edward and I want to get out in our canoes!!

Hey kitties, Thanks for coming to my performance at the Met, and for cheering me on. And for singing with me in the subway: Moonie and the SugarCats were great. It was awesome to get enough money to buy the hotdog cart!! I can't wait to try it out, Mannie! Maybe I can be a singing hotdog vendor? But right now my mamabean says I have to work on my numbers.

I hear you on the furshots. I went through a run and ended up overthinking them and it wasn't as natural of a shot. I probably did furshots as a result. Hope the new Lev kicks in quickly.

Thank you Ella and Laurie for keeping the snow you are going to get. Much appreciated. We have kayaks in the back yard and DH didn't get around to building a stand or cover for them. Wonder how they'll look in the spring. He didn't even take the seats out. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile MEN!

Good morning guys ... sorry to see rusty is higher then normal .. I hope the new cartridge does the trick and get's him back down .. I wouldn't feel like playing either if I knew in the back of my head it was Spring and 8 to 12 inches of snow is headed my way .. that's depressing! I hope you guys have a great day and that the snow totally misses you!

WOW on the snow - and I hear you - enough already, and bring on spring!

Morning!! Hope the new pen will do wonders for Rusty's numbers!! Sometimes a fur shot or stress will linger for a few days...Hope Rusty comes down easily today--Sorry about the weather..It's been bad everywhere--Now the winter that wouldnt quit :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I hope the new cartridge helps and in no time Rusty will be back on track. Wow, let's hope this is your last big snow storm! Have a nice day and Rusty kitty, Maggie sure enjoyed hearing you singing at the Met. It was a fabulous time for all the kitties!

I hear you about the spring. March is going out like a lion here too....
We are having terrible thunder and lightning storms and today there are high winds and tornado watches all over! We really needed the rain badly though....
Got my Walmart run in last night right before the heavy downpour...so we are all set and can stay inside and keep dry today! I hope you can have a cozy day too Ella! Hugs to you all! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Much better, Rusty!! Now how's about some green tonight?? Sorry to hear that snow is still on the way. We're supposed to have some showers today, but more importantly, our cold snap is supposed to finally break. I'm so ready for it!

Hi Ella. I'm glad you're all home, safe and sound. :-D
We got the yucky, heavy wet snow last night. A few inches, just enough to remind us that winter's not over.
Some of it melted in the 40's temps of today, but not too much. *sigh*
I so want to get out to walk. Can't wait for that first showing of green in the trees. I love Spring and all the new beginnings.

Hey Rusty, thanks for everything on our WOWZA New York visit. You are an awesome singer! I think you could really make a lotta money singing at the hot dog stand. Ella, I asked you in Checkers' condo, ut just realized, you probably won't go back there tonight.
I was wondering where one purchases a headlamp. I could test/shoot in a more convenient place, if I had good lighting, anywhere I want it.

Hi Ella: Rusty looks much better today and I hope you will see him back to his normal and lovely PSs and green nadirs tonight. What a mystery but maybe it was just the cartridge or the travel....something weird.

Thanks for visiting us and giving us support!! Boy, you all have had more than your share of cold weather....20 degrees still????? I think next time Rusty comes down for a pool party, you and Edward should come with. Oh....and can Edward bring his cinnamon cake...uh, and his bread? :lol: :lol:

a headlamp is a great idea. but i'm afraid my husband would post a picture of me on facebook, especially if i were in my jammies, wearing the headlamp with NERD written across it. then my kids would have to disown me. ;-)

sounds like you've recovered from the furshot saga - we hate those! Rusty is looking great tonight.

I hope you don't get as much snow as they are predicting in the NE. I am thinking it was too cold today in Atlanta because it was in the 50's so I guess I shouldn't complain. Come on Spring!

I never thought of a headlamp. My husband has one so maybe I need to borrow it because my eyes are definitely not getting any younger.
 
Hey Everyone, We're back to low blue (almost green) at PMPS +4.5! I hope this signals the end of the fur-shot, spent-insulin saga. Fingers and paws crossed for a normal Rusty day tomorrow! (I gave him a tiny bite of FF turkey and giblets as a treat at bedtime to help prevent a bounce; we'll see!)
