Regarding the questions from yesterday: First of all this is the last cartridge of the 5 pack so it may be stale. Second...I just can't do a curve right now I have been working CRAZY hours and when I finally do get a day off (like yesterday) I make up for lost sleep..I HAVE TO! I am having my own medical issues right now which I will not go into because this is not the time nor the place for that. As for him dropping too low and rebounding I was suspecting that was happening but when I dropped the dose the numbers went UP. I am taking him to the vets in a few weeks after I take care of myself and will discuss switching to Levemir with my vet because I really suspect the Lantus is just not able to maintain for twelve hours anymore...Hopefully he will be OK until I can get him to the vet!

Good morning guys .. well, at least it is a low pink this morning right? I'm sorry you are having some medical problems and we all understand working crazy hours and needing to get some sleep .. Hopefully when you can get arnie into the vet it will just be a matter of trying a new insulin for him and that everything else checks out good .. have a great day guys!

I understand you are busy, and I'm sorry about your medical issues. If your insulin has been properly stored and is not expired, it should be fine. Regarding whether he is bouncing, or the Lantus not holding for 12 hours....without more data, it's purely a guess on your part, or anyone else's part, what is going on. Switching to Lev may or may not help.

What about feeding?

Morning guys! at least the pink is a low one. I hope things work out ok for you Bob - good luck with all the medical stuff. Not fun, but take care of you.

Boy can I relate the working crazy hours - went through a stint of that way back - it does make if difficult. I hope things settle down some for you.

Arnie - you be good! Better numbers for your bean - it would make him happy!
