Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty is back in blue after an almost-all-green day yesterday. Probably a simple bounce, since he ate all of his nighttime food at bedtime last night! He was eager for breakfast this morning (both sittings eaten enthusiastically) and we had a good test and a good shot. Now that it is light in the morning, he is up and about much earlier. This morning I was woken by him jumping up on the bed and licking my face, squirming, cuddling, and giving head butts. He is looking with interest at the downstairs front porch and I think he may enjoy going out on it again later. I'm sure he wants to go outdoors again, too, since he is spending a lot of time this morning looking out the window from his perch. Yesterday a small black kitty wearing a collar was sniffing around our yard. Edward called me out to look at him. And when we came inside Rusty was right at the door even though he hadn't been anywhere near the door. He knew instinctively that he had a visitor! I hope this is not going to be a problem. Stu often had visitors (but they never came around when he was outside; they would look in from the other side of the back door and Stu would hiss at them!). I don't remember seeing this particular cat last summer.
Off now to see if Rusty wants a game of Cat's Cradle or Cube with either Red Ears or Big Bug. Then out for a walk before the rain arrives. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 80!!! here, with rain- and thunderstorms and high winds. I guess that will melt the snow!
