4/12-13 Tasha curve adj for AT Lowest +3 70 +8 96 surfin

Please forgive the dyslexic fingies tonite--they seepy :lol: I-)

Thought I'd start a new condo since I'm doing a curve. Been interesting so far:

Cycle 4 on .05 units

pmps:101
+1: 128
+2: 85 20 or so mins later she vomited
+3: 70 1 tsp FF HC
+3.5? (30 mins later) : 71
+4: (30 mins later) :81
+6: 79 1 tsp FF HC bout 5-10 mins later vomited again
+7: 97
+8: 96
+9: 99
+10: 110
+11: 111

Ta's has been a major luver tonite, except for now she's sleeping on a jacket on the floor

How much can vomiting skew the curve

It can skew it; in fact, that's how Binks got OTJ. He was vomiting and his BG numbers were low. You don't want to give insulin if they can't keep food down. So Binks couldn't have juice and he was at nice numbers and low dose....and just stayed there. You need to be very careful and keep an eye on her if she's got insulin on board and not keeping food in. If she continues vomiting in the morning, you might want to consider not shooting.....especially if her BG is like this. I'm assuming your numbers above are from your Relion and not AT meter?

Are you giving her 0.5u or .05u (which would be really, really tough to draw).

i don't know but will bump you up. not as many experts on at night. does she vomit regularly or is this unusual?

not this many times, she used to do it quite often on the kibble, and when her hyper-t was out of control (stable now). gonna be up all night doing the curve, so will be able to watch her--seepin now--

ya the numbers are from the relion, i added 30 to them so the ss isn't so screwy. Would realy freak the vet out!

not realy looking for an expert, just someone who's been there.
