Good Morning all,

Guinness has fallen right back into his routine, waking us up at all hours meowing for food. He had some nice yellow numbers last night, but was drawn back to the third floor this morning. Yesterday's scan revealed no hyper-t, no heart disease, slightly inflamed pancreas and slightly bigger funnel on Kidney (not sure what that means, but she didn't seem too concerned about it). We probably will need to get a blood test to confirm or rule out pancreatitis. i'm gonna give him a week off from going to the vet and revisit with her later today.

Hope all is well with all the kitties on the board today. BTW, what do "all 4 ps are in place" or posts like that mean?

Sorry to hear about Guinness. I love that name by the way! Hopefully he will have a good day and come back down.

I had to ask that question yesterday on the main board. They said it is purring, pooping, peeing, preening, and playing (I guess there are 5).

The more "P's" in place, the better your kitty is doing

I hope Guinness gets down off that nasty floor. Time for both our dudes to try blue on for size :lol:

Hi guys .. sorry to see guinness up on the pink floor this morning ... I hope he comes down for you .. yay on the test results, so glad to see all the good results .. I hope your vet can shed light into the inflamed pancreas ... have a great day guys!

Having a hard time catching up today. Guinness seems to be doing well. Waiting for vet to return calls. Probably won't know when to move forward with pancreas blood test until I speak with her.

P=Pooping
P=Preening
P=Peeing
P=Purring
P=Playing

So, all 5 Ps in place is a great day.....we usually don't have P=playing on too many days....but all the Ps are a good way to gauge how your kitties are feeling. Shorthand here .....it's pretty neat, no? :mrgreen:
