Yesterday

Happy Saturday LL Fam !!

What a gorgeous day here in the Mid West.. Plenty of birds singing, a gentle breeze blowing in through the windows, the sun is shining, all the kitties and puppies have full bellies from breffis and are now in their usual spots taking a much needed morning nap :lol:
Tommy didn't want to miss out on the sunshine this morning either, so he decided to clear his bounce rather quickly last night.. Yeah for that

For those of you who want a glimpse of "Squirrel Humor" please take a look at my post from 10:19pm last night..It's not my best stuff but it should provide a groan or three from some of you.. I'm pretty sleep deprived as of lately as i know some of you are also..
Here's to spending more and more time rolling around in the grass for Tommy and all of the LL kitties.. Heck let's make it a Party!!

Squirrel: that is too darn cute and funny to leave it hidden at the bottom of last night's condo!! I love it!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Think I'll try it with Gracie as it looks like it might have worked for Tommy....flat yellows...you know what I mean?? Sounds lovely there, today...really nice. Makes me want to fly up, string a hammock up between two trees (I'm assuming you have two appropriate-sized trees on your property) and spend the day there!! Have an awesome one!

I was thinking that was pretty harsh punishment, until I saw the two seconds. Heck, it takes me that long to figure out what Kitty is asking for, before I rush to fulfill his needs!

I believe my food test for the day has come to an end.. No more FF Classic Turkey and Giblets for Tommy. I have been only giving him FF
Classic Chicken. I'm not sure about the results of my test, but it seems as though Tommy's BG and FF T&G don't get along very well. :YMSIGH: I tried it once before a while back ending in similar results. I thought with him being so much in the yellows and blues lately that the food was not the problem.. Well, live and learn. Tommy's doing well today. No change in him other than the numbers. I'll be really interested to see what happens tomorrow. Looks like a little R might be in store for him this evening as well as staying up late..
(So many of you can relate to that one! :lol: )

Loved your bouncing edict. Guess Tommy is testing you. As for the FF T&G, I think Ella experienced the same thing. Hope he comes back down soon, that being said, he will come down when he is ready. Maybe a nose twitch will help. :lol:

What was the food test for? We tried the FF Chicken, and Kitty's numbers went up. Then we went to FF Turkey, and the numbers went down. But Kitty definitely liked the taste of the chicken more. Another case of "every cat is different"!

we give punkin the ff chicken and turkey & giblets feast - i think they are about the same on his BG. i keep thinking, however, that the fish ones seem to raise it - but when i looked up the carbs, the fish ones have less. so i think it's just my imagination . . . . because how could that be? even if i only feed one kind of food his bg still fluctuates.

Kathy, a while back when Tommy's numbers were all over the place it was suggested to me that i try and feed one case of the same kind and see what it did to his numbers, then feed a different kind, make notes, etc.. For a while now i've been giving him only FF Classic Chicken and it really seems to agree with him.. Well silly me ohmygod_smile because I think he's bored with the chicken and his numbers have been looking really well for Tommy standards, i thought i would try the T&G again.. And i really feel that todays numbers are a reflection of the food i fed him.. So i am going back to The FF Classic chicken and see what happens. @-) . Plus I also helped him out a bit with a little R. :smile:

Julie, you need some sleep.. crazy lady.. Does any of it really make sense. @-) @-)
I think the thing about the fish foods is that they are high in fat which is why you should only feed fishy stuff 2x a week or so. I think that's what i read.

Rusty loves FF T&G and I think it does raise his numbers (Marjorie and Gracie have had a similar experience). But I've taken to feeding a teaspoon of it as a treat at bedtime. He is so enthusiastic when I take it out of the 'fridge. Otherwise he gets Wellness Turkey exclusively. He likes it very much, but FF T&G--that's heaven!

Hope you see some lower numbers tomorrow for Tommy,
