all is well in punkin land! he's finishing up anya's plate right now - gotta make sure she's with him in the Clean Plate Club! no sprinting up the stairs this morning, though. he came up rather slowly and let the young one bounce ahead of him. not much of a bath either, he's already curled up to go back to sleep.

Punkin and Champ's numbers are pretty close this morning. Here's hoping they both head for green in a nice, safe, slow manner, and then just surf there all day long!! :-D

it's only 46 outside at the moment (not quite 7am) - and yesterday only got up to about 60, so i definitely don't think it's the heat. maybe he's just tired, though, because this is early. our usual time is 7am, but we made our way an hour earlier last week and stayed so that we could go to a potluck at 6pm tonight. it's been a bit painful getting up so early for me, could be for punkin as well.

Morning! Maybe it's just "what's the rush? There's always Anya's...." what more could a kitty want?: food, sleeping, a caring bean. Life is good.

Nice start for punkin this morning, maybe some blues on the horizon. :-D

the kitties were wrestling at my feet and somehow then it was ON my feet - and man did that set of scratches hurt!

the good news is that neosporin with pain relief - hey, it really does work! probably put it on 10 minutes ago and i can't feel the scratches anymore.

breakfast #2 in progress - nom nom nom. maybe anya won't eat all of hers!

Old kitters just can't race everyday ya know! They need to pace themselves and pick and choose the races they want to enter.

I hear you on the neosporin with pain relief, Leo and i were playing last week and i got a nasty sratch on my hand, slabbed some neosporin on and yeah 10 minutes later it stopped throbbing! Made me feel better knowing i put it on his ears after testing.

Punkin....maybe a repeat of yesterdays blues please?

I... second.. third... fifth? the neosporin with pain relief. My darling Zell was sitting on my lap last week and got spooked by a series of events and decided to use my leg as a jump pad to escape what he believed to be sudden, unstoppable doom and gave me a nice souvenir about 5 inches long. I cleaned and cleaned it and applied some neosporin and ahhhh all better. Unfortunately, it still looked super gnarly because I'm so pale but at least it didn't hurt anymore!

Glad to hear Punkin is doing well! I hope his numbers come down into the blue today, it seems promising!

well . . . did ya'll say your crystal ball said "pink?" cuz that's what we've got here. stinkus pinkus. *sigh*

no word from the vet, but i may still call. don't want to plague them when they've said they'll call when it comes in.

I just read your last post and see that you haven't gotten your results yet either. We were at the vets today and only the IAA came back (negative) but not the acro. The vet was surprised that he hadn't heard. But then again, when there is only one lab in the country that does that sort of testing, it could take a while. Good luck with it.
