Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty has been trending too high, so I put the drop back on his dose (back to fat 0.75). Today's shot was an "ouchie" (he "spoke" and tried to pull away). But he has forgiven me (he is such a love bug). He is reacting to the change in the weather, as are we all. Yesterday it was hot and very windy; today it is cold and very windy (no rain yet, however). We are so happy that we cancelled the paddle. It would have been impossible in this weather. The cellar is about the same, perhaps a little better after yesterday's heat. This afternoon a contractor (the guy who does our snowplowing and who specializes in jobs "under ground") is coming to look at it. Once it dries out (if it ever does!!) we want to have the concrete floor re-done and the holes and thin spots repaired. I think it's too big a job for us to do ourselves, even with the expert help of friends.
Rusty was eager to get us up this morning and eager for breakfast (2 sittings). He has been napping in his perch by the radiator all morning (a hint to turn on the heat? NO WAY will we turn on the heat in June!).
Everyone have a good day. We are sending good thoughts and prayers and dental vines to Donovan for his dental surgery, and to Tobey for his echocardiogram. Also keeping all our ailing kitties in our thoughts and prayers.
We hope that everyone who lives in the Boston area was unharmed by the tornados.
