Gabby got rid of the vet stress in record time. Blood work should be back today. Gabby is currently crashed in a box. It's been a very tough morning of eating breakfast. We're expecting really hot and humid weather and the AC in the building I work in has not been functioning properly. I'm hoping they close the building.

Glad Gabby got rid of the stress quick! Hopefully they will close your building. Hot and humid is no way to work. Thanks for the advice last night. I was second guessing myself since Tarragon has been so listless and cranky with these blues. It seems like every time I think things are going good, his demeanor changes or he gets sick or something. I'm sure you know what I am talking about. Anyway, thank you again. I really appreciate all you do!

hope they close the building then you can crash in a box with Gabby! or maybe on the bed. Glad his vet stress is less severe and he recovers faster.

Good morning, guys, Did they close the building? I just got caught up on the vet's visit to you!! How neat to have a vet who makes house calls and brings a vet tech along. Good news about the teeth. I hope the blood tests will be good, too.
Your hot weather is supposed to be here tomorrow. 90 degrees here in the mountains is very unusual. Maybe it won't be that bad.

we've split up the rooms in this house:

french face gets the bathroom- the tile is coolest
kev gets the bedroom- the ac pumps the hardest in there, and the curtains keep the room cool.
occasionally they switch.

i lizard bake in the living room with a small fan and no ac....i love the 90 weather...they think i'm crazy.

nice numbers from gabby today, i hope they send you home where you have ac and a blender. this is blender drink weather.

Yuck on the 90 degree weather working in a building that doesn't have AC, that's kinda like torture.

Gabby is back in green! She survived the vetty visit and is feeling better :mrgreen:

Darn. The AC was working in part of the building today. Unfortunately, my office had AC.

Morgan - I couldn't survive at home without AC, especially this week. However, the blender drinks sound delightful!

ohmygosh i could've used some of your heat today. i've been wearing a fleece the entire day - and i even took a nap with it on under the covers.

a blender drink sounds just yummy! gabby sure is doing well today - little zoomy girl!

I'm all for lizard baking, too...summer is way too short around here, and I can't wait till I can retire to some place that is warm and sunny all year 'round. I'd die happy if I never saw another snowflake again!

Gabby's labs are back. The only elevated values were her eosinophils which the vet thinks may be due to allergy. So, other than needing her teeth cleaned, Gabby got a clean bill of health.

If anyone is interested, Gabby's labs are on a tab in her SS.

Great news on the results for Gabby, clean bill of health is the best kind of news.. I happy and sad for you today that your office had a/c :lol: . I don't know how you keep from going crazy with the way Gabby's numbers vary so much. You do an amazing job of keeping her happy though I must say..
Again, I'm so glad the test results were good ones :-D
