Good Morning Everyone,
Today is going to be hot, even here in the mountains. But when we think of all those massive fires in AZ, we feel lucky. I hope that all the AZ beans in LL are safe.
Rusty had his usual good sleep through the night, right between his beans. This morning he had a good test and a good shot and 2 sittings of breakfast and then went outside with me. He sat on the back stoop in the sun. Edward came out (while I went down to the cellar to bail) and said that Rusty perked up an ear, walked around to the side of the house, and there was Shadow. They "communed" for quite a while at a distance of about 4 feet. Neither growled or made a hostile move. Then Shadow frisked away and Rusty came inside. He is now sitting by the window in the "mud room", watching.
While I was out with him this morning I saw two does with a very young fawn (still with spots) in the back yard: Momma, Auntie, and baby were munching away. So neat.
Everyone have a good day,
Ella & Rusty
Hey Kitties: don't forget the party at Camp Stu on Friday.
