6/9 Rusty PMPS 127, +4.5 105

Good Morning Everyone,

A bit of a late start this morning: thunderstorms were abundant and I didn't want to turn on my computer. It looks like our string of good weather has come to an end. Unfortunately, it did little to help our cellar. Now, of course, even the few spots that had dried up are wet again because of the heavy rain.
Rusty had a good night and was apparently up and about for some of it (I found a contribution in the downstairs litterbox). He had a good test and shot and enjoyed his breakfast. He's now napping on his scratcher/perch. We're getting ready for our trip to Camp Stu tomorrow and Rusty wants to remind all kitties that there will be a party tomorrow (Friday).

Wow and bummer on the weather. I am sorry about the cellar. How frustrating it must be.

CD, WOW! What a great pic!! I'm going to print it out. It is fantastic. This is going to be a good party, and getting there will be half the fun!

Hi again,
In the late afternoon I decided to clean the mud out of the "mud beach" in our cellar. The water got worse and worse as I moved all 27 sponges and shoveled out the mud. Then, when I got to the original hole in the floor (which I had put tape over 4 years ago), the flow was like a fountain. So I pulled the tape and decided I had nothing to lose if I tried to fill it with hydralic cement. I mixed some up, but didn't get the proportions right. However, it has worked partially and the flow of water has slowed to a trickle!! Yea!
(But what a mess!)

All of this was happening when I should have been testing Rusty for his +9 and giving him his snack. He was a bit discombobulated, but settled down to wait for PMPS, which was a little high (probably owing to the afternoon's cellar work), then dinner, and his shot. All went fine. He has retired to his basket. He knows we're going to camp tomorrow and may be apprehensive.

Everyone have a good evening. I'll check on the cellar later. But after dinner it really looked the best it has in 6 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed.

Oh so sorry that you're still having troubles with your cellar. Rusty will understand about the +9 snack It's still a nice PMPS and nice day for Rusty, looking very good.

Bless your heart Ella. I'm so sorry you are still dealing w/this mess. I'm hopeful the cement will help do the trick of plugging up the hole asap.
