there's some excitement here this morning. not only did anya not finish her plate, she probably left 1/4 can of FF behind! none of the usual crumbs, REAL amounts of food. isn't that super?!? punkin's working on it right now. he was very vocal about how long it took us to get breakfast ready and happy happy happy to put his face in the bowl and eat it.

anya's bath is over, punkin's still eating. and eating. and eating. :lol:

punkin has had a trio of good days, first some blue, then a good report from the dentist, now an extra 1/4 of ff.

Punkin! Silly boy. Sometimes I think Rasta leaves Zell food on purpose when Zell is behaving himself and leaving him alone (almost like a.. hay guy, I know you're very hungeee mon, you can has dis since you leaved me alone).

hahahaha we NEVER call punkin piggy! he's too sincere about the whole thing - ya can't make fun of him!

I have a punkin lap right now. he was downstairs when i wanted to test him. i called and called - no punkin. so i went and got him and he was sitting there on the floor like "hey mom, it's a long ways up that stairway." he usually comes right away, and sure enough his BG was down to 114. he always gets a little lethargic when he's lower than usual.

kinda nice to have him parked on me though - most of the time he wants to sit on the floor. my hands got a thorough washing (thanks punkin) and now a nap may be in order!

i used the Mr Rebates to order at American Diabetes Wholesale - one of the rebate options wasn't valid but one worked. i didn't test him this morning because i'm down to "just" 55 strips and don't want to have to get them locally for twice as much. so hopefully the order will arrive fairly quickly.

Nice nadir Punkin!!!

I hope your order arrives soon... I know how easy it is to blow through strips ESPECIALLY if something crops up (I always mess up testing when this happens too and wind up having to do it 3 times every time... ugh). We typically buy our strips 100 at a time (keep one box in the hypo kit) and buy more when we open the box in the kit (or are about to open that box) so we are usually have 50 strips extra. If we ordered supplies online I would probably keep more just because we all know how online orders can be.

Anya is so nice to leave some for Punkin. Turnup always leaves plenty for Tarragon. Neither one ever clean their plate in one sitting though.
