Yesterday's Condo

Gabby did me the honor of surfing in the blues until this morning!

Gizmo was out for trouble at breakfast time. Gizmo, if you haven't figured it out, is a bundle of energy. He's a morning cat. (Well, he's really energetic all the time that he's not sleeping.) Gabby, on the other hand, is more like me. I don't want to be bothered until the double espresso kicks in. The kitties had their usual bit of wrestling while I was dishing up their food. After breakfast, rather than go elsewhere to bathe and snooze per usual, Gabby decided to hang out in the dining room while I puttered around the kitchen. Gizmo was playing soccer with a spring. Gabby politely moved out of the way and under the dining room table. My table is glass. Gizmo, now atop the table, could see her. He moved to a chair. All I could see was his plume of a tail as it disappeared under the table. And then the growling, hissing, and screaming started. Gizmo looked mortally wounded and then charged off after Gabby who stationed herself in a Gabby-sized box. Gizmo clearly hasn't figured out the morning "coffee" thing.

Awwww, poor Gizmo. So misunderstood.

(Poor Gabby, too. I'm not in a great mood until the caffeine kicks in either).

But, nice blue! (wonder where her BG was post Gizmo chase attack scene!)

Haven't visited your condo in a few days as I was wrasslin' a Junior alligator.

Awww, poor Gizmo! He just wanted to play. I have a feeling that he'll learn his lesson soon. You just don't mess with non-morning people and kitties!

Gabby...no bouncing!!! What a fun story of those two. I often wonder if Gizmo and Tobey would have great fun together after all the hissing subsided!
