~O) Good Morning Everyone ~O)

Simon's 95 this AMPS, he was at the food left out overnight when I got up, a half hour
before AMPS, the rascal.. then proceeded to eat his "real" breakfast. Appetite OK obviously.

I've started him on his recommended dosage of Tapazole, 2.5mg BID, after 11 days on the half dosage.
Fingers crossed his tummy remains calm and we can get his HT under control.

Still all upper greens on his SS, a happy kitty.

Yesterday's Condo

Yesterday's Synopsis
AMPS 84 .50u skinny
+5 70
PMPS 97 .50u skinny

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Such a teeny tweey dose for Simon. You are a master care taker -- good job. Hope you guys have a great day!

PS is the HT hyper or hypo thyroid?? In any event, sounds like you are on top of the issue.

Thanks Susan

Simon's hyperthyroid, which I think knocked him out of his FD honeymoon

It is a small dose, so small in fact that his .50 "skinny" probably varies from .45 down to .30, with my eyesight
Hard to judge the size of the drop I bleed off the .5.....

By the looks of that 52 @ +4, I'd say he got a higher one this AM

Thanks for dropping by, and have a great day!

A very nice start to Saturday for Simon! Hope he continues to do well on the Tapazole.....Zoe was also HyperT, she did well on the 2.5 mg BID of tapazole for 4 months...then she started to get "itchy" all the time, so we opted to do the radioactive iodine treatment (worked beautifully for her).

Have a great weekend!

Glad it worked out well for Zoe! We have to see if the HT is masking kidney problems, which at Simon's age (16 next month) and
medical history may be a factor. Also the quarantine period... he's such a baby! (not to mention his beans)

Yeah, we had to look for the possibly hidden kidney problems, too. Zoe is only 10 so that may have made a difference. The quarantine period  was hard.....probably harder on me than her....but we did both survive! ;-)

Hi Marjorie!

Hey, NP, I saw how busy you were ohmygod_smile , and looking around the board seems like tonight will be no different.

Simon seems to be on cruise-control on the green floor, healthier, happier, and his hips and shoulders, which were getting
a bit bony, seem to have regained some "padding"
