Good Morning, Everyone,

Starting out in green. New box of test strips. I hope Rusty won't go too low today, since we'll be out until about +10 or so. He had a good night sleeping with his beans, good test this morning, good shot, 2 installments of breakfast. Today I'm going to leave food out in an open compartment of the automat (he always uses the automat as a table, so this will be more familiar than having the closed compartments pop up later). And I will put the +9 snack in the other compartment and set the timer on it. Hopefully he'll eat his food today instead of "saving" it! He seems to be completely recovered from the hairball (which never did materialize).

We'll be paddling the "Route of the 7 Carries", a lovely tour through a number of ponds and lakes in the St. Regis Canoe Area. The carries (portages) are mostly short, but as I recall 2 of them are about 1/2 mile in length, so I am taking my yoke!

We are sending healing vines to Rocket and any other kitties in need of them.
Back later, Everyone have a good day,

Ella & Rusty

Nice! :thumbup :thumbup Have a fun day. Rusty is smart, he will figure the fuds out if he needs them.

Don't be so sure! I once found on hidden , under the covers in the foot of my bed!

Hi again,
We had a lovely paddle. It was a gorgeous summer day with a high in the 70s. Perfect. The only thing not perfect were the hoards of mosquitoes!! Some of the portages were muddy, but none of them were difficult.

Rusty ate a little of his food while we were out, but certainly not much. We were home by +9 and his automat had just opened, so I can't judge by that. He ate the +9 snack with enthusiasm (there was a little FF T&G in it). Then he had a really nice time relaxing outside in the sunshine while we put our stuff away. He only ate about half of his dinner. But the litterbox received its contributions today. Still no hairball that I can see (not even under the covers, Ann!).

Wishing you all a good evening. Sending healing vines to Rocket,

Ella & Rusty

What a perfect day! Paddles and portages - wonderful!! and good weather to add to it. It sounds really great! I took DGS hiking today, but we didn't get such good weather. Even with the drizzle he did fine - amazing that a 6 month old puts up with it all. YAY! :-D :-D Bummer on all the mosquitoes - omg!

I am glad Rusty is all better... good I suppose that the gigantus hairballities never materialized... or maybe you just haven't found it!

Have a great evening guys!

Rusty is somewhat low tonight, but he's eating FF T&G, so I think he'll be fine. Good appetite after "saving" his food while we were out on the paddle.

Ni ni everyone. We are all tired after being out in the sun all day.

Ella & Rusty
