7/18 Rusty AMPS 223, +5 146, PMPS 146, +4.5 127

Good Morning, Everyone,

Well, it looks like I gave a fur shot last night (although it didn't seem so at the time). But Rusty climbed from PMPS on. Just what I need right now. And this morning's shot may or may not have all gotten in (Rusty pulled back as I was shooting). We'll be here for a +5 and then not until PMPS. Time will tell, as usual!

We had cataclysmic thunder & lightening storms last night and early this morning and it's still raining. Rusty isn't afraid of thunder, but he knows that we are off to Canoe Outing this afternoon and is being very quiet. I also noticed a sleight swelling over his right eye, maybe from an insect bite? It doesn't seem to bother him, but I put a little salt water on it to help it heal. I will be watching it; can't get to the vet this week unless it is a real emergency.

So we will be off to Canoe Outing under less than auspicious circumstances. But tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day, and also Wednesday. That will be great! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Rusty will eat from his automat and that his numbers will be Rusty-like: low blues and high greens.

Back later, at some point. Will keep Rusty's SS up to date even if I can't post.

sorry about the fur shot and the weather. Hope you manage to enjoy your outing.
And I hope Rusty eats from the automat and his eye is nothing serious.

Yuck on the fur shot suspicion. Hope Rusty comes down for you and that the weather holds out for your paddle!

Sorry about the fur shot, Ella, and hope some of the juice did get in this morning even though Rusty moved. Enjoy your day and hope the weather is good.

Bummer on the fur shot(s) and the numbers... I am sure he'll come down soon, he usually does. Paws crossed that he uses his feeder. I hope that it is noting serious with the swelling over his eye.

YEAH!! He's coming down!! Hope you have a great canoe will be green & hope Rusty will be green as well!

Looks like this morning's shot went in. Sorry about last night, but he is on his wy to better numbers. Poor Rusty left alone and a bump over his eye. Paws crossed. Try to have fun and not worry too much.

I hate to say it, but have you considered shaving a spot for shots? With his long hair maybe a comb over would work?

We shaved an area on Tarragon just for that same reason. Carolyn just told me the fur trick last week. The two of them combined have made a huge difference. Hope you had a great day!!

Hi again,
The first day of Canoe Outing (registration) went well. Fun to see old friends. We've been attending this outing for more than 10 years. No paddling today. Tomorrow starts the "real" Outing. Rusty came down from the fur shot and hopefully will have good numbers the rest of the week. He ate the food in his automat!! Tomorrow he'll be home alone all day (until PMPS, when he will have a brief visit from me for his shot and dinner, and then I'll be out for the evening meeting until about +2). it's good to come back home to spend the evenings with Rusty, as well as the nights, although we miss the evening games and gab at Canoe Outing. Rusty wanted to go outside when we got home this evening, and Shadow appeared immediately. Rusty was irritated with him and almost clipped him one! But they also touched noses twice. Shadow really wants Rusty to play and chase and is not the least intimidated.

Time to turn in. thanks to everyone for visiting Rusty's condo today. Tomorrow maybe some of his friends would like to come over and chillax on the porches.

YAY - a great day - so nice isn't it. I hope the canoe outing goes as well, I am sure it will. Sorry that you will miss some of the evening activities... but understand the reason.
