Good Evening, Everyone,
Wow, an exhausting day in the heat and the WIND!! Fortunately we had good paddlers on our trip, because the wind this afternoon was very strong. (And tomorrow they are predicting 15-25mph winds with 40mph gusts, so we have been told to avoid the lakes and ponds and stick to the rivers.) The heat is unusual for this part of the world. But Rusty is doing OK. He's accepted our new "schedule" for the week and has been eating from his automat without problems. Today I froze a puck for his +9 snack and that was a good idea in this heat. When I get home for PMPS I always find him on the bench in the "mud room", waiting for me. He is so neat! This evening Rusty is watching the Tour with us. We all need to relax after the day. He went outside briefly when we got home this evening and had an encounter with Shadow. I think he really looks forward to these "meetings."
All for now. Once again I apologize for not visiting condos. I hope everyone had a good day and that you all were able to keep cool. Rusty thanks his pals for visiting him.
