Re: 7/23 Trixie AMPS 182 +2 150 - Should we increase?

As long as you're going to be around to test, I'd consider bringing Trixie's dose up to 1.0u.

I don't feel qualified on dosing either, but an increase sounds good. Maybe he'd have been even higher if you hasn't already increased. Good luck!

Re: 7/23 Trixie AMPS 182 +2 150

Monitoring isn't an issue, so 1.0 it is, starting this evening. Wow, she hasn't needed that much juice in over 2 months....

(((Amy))): could there be ANYTHING else going on with her? I know that for no reason, they can need more insulin but she has been so consistent. Teeth ok? I know you said no symptoms of UTI.

Keeping you in my thoughts. I hope this increase kicks her back down the dosing scale.

I'm pretty confident that her teeth are OK...she had her dental a few months ago, and she doesn't exhibit any oral discomfort. She's behaving just fine. The only other thought I have is the insulin, but that's less than a month old. That, and maybe she just wasn't really ready for the dose reductions, even though she "earned" them. Who knows...all I know is from now on, we'll have to make it "harder" for her to earn reductions...
