Good Morning, Everyone,

All is well here. We have a beautiful, sunny morning, cool, with winds out of the north. Perfect summer day! Rusty is outdoors with Edward, enjoying the shade (it's too hot in the sun for his thick fur coat). We had a good test, shot, 2 sittings of breakfast, and Rusty took a nap on the couch while Edward and I went out for a 4-mile walk (first walk in a week; at Canoe Outing we only paddled!). I've done 2 loads of laundry and later will vacuum the house and pay bills. This is a good day to get caught up--also on the FDMB, which moves so fast that I think I have missed a lot.

Everyone have a good day and we send healing vines and good thoughts to all kitties and beans in need of them,

Wow, you have accomplished a lot, and I'm tired reading how much you've done! :lol: But then it is already past 12:30 in your area, right! Rusty is looking good today. Enjoy your Sunday.

Hi again,
Strange set of numbers for Rusty today. He had a nice day with several excursions outside (but Shadow wasn't around). He had some good brushings and combings from his papabean. And he enjoyed his foods without having to wait for the automat to open. Otherwise, not much new here. I did chores. While cleaning I picked up a paper tote bag with a splendid bottle of Hungarian wine in it that a friend had given us. The bag was split down the side seam and the wine fell to the floor and broke. It was awful to see that nice wine flooding the floor! We cleaned it up. Rusty, of course, immediately wanted to investigate, but we shooed him into the mud room while we cleaned up the spill. That was the most exciting thing that happened today. I never did get to paying bills!!

No wine for you Rusty...will make your glucose go up dude. Gracie's bean had a great idea for the Nanner King tonight since he's kinda high.....She and Tess were gonna toss a rope to Mannie and pull him down. Thinking we ought to make it a team effort....What da ya say Rusty....We go help Gracie and Tess....Pull our buddy down a bit, k?

Good idea, Curry! I've got my telescope out, trying to get a look at Mannie way up there! We've got to rescue him before he floats away into space!

It's nice to get caught up and have a chance to catch your breath. Glad you got our walk in! BUMMER on the wine!!!!

Hi Ella. Checks wanted to see if Rusty's been playing with Shadow yet. We've been absent too much lately, and not caught up.
Rusty must so enjoy being out. I occasionally take Checks out on a vest/harness, but all he wants to do is eat grass, and I'm lacking in knowledge about plant safety.
It was beautiful this morning here too, but got too hot in the afternoon.

Aww, what a waste of a beautiful bottle of wine.

Tomorrow's supposed to be cooler. I hope you and your boys enjoy it thoroughly. :smile:

Did you have a nice walk today? my hike was interesting... creek on overload due to snow melt, so I had to cut it short. nice area though!
