Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,

Sending healing vines to Rocket and get-some-rest vines to Claudia.
Sending try-not-to-worry vines to Roni
Sending vines of all sorts to others who need them this morning.

Rusty has come back from yesterday's fur shot and is GREEN this morning. Yea! Now, if only I can refrain from giving another!! (I think this morning's shot was good). It is very warm and very humid this morning. Lots of rain last night. Rusty had his test, breakfast (2 sittings), and shot and both he and Edward went btb. I, however, am going canoeing with friends (Edward doesn't feel like going: he'd rather listen to the opera program this afternoon). So Edward will keep an eye on Rusty and I'll enjoy the paddle, which is through some lovely, motor-boat free, ponds. At one point we have to climb up over the railroad tracks to get to the next pond (or, if there is enough water, line the canoe through the culvert). I hope to be back by +9.5 or so, and hope that Rusty will have a good day of numbers--not too low, not too high.

Sorry about the furshot yesterday. Nice that Rusty is back to his normal numbers. Sounds like a lovely day for your outing. ENJOY.

Hi All,
Sorry to get back on the board so late; got wrapped up in "All Quiet on the Western Front" on Turner Classic Movies. I did indeed have a great day on the water, and so did Edward, listening to the opera (he won the identification of the "mystery voice" again). But apparently Rusty got another fur shot this morning and I think he got one this evening, too. Very discouraging, especially since they didn't seem to be fur shots (at least that was true of this morning; this evening I smelled Lev, even though it seemed that the shot went in). I have certainly lost it! ( I don't want to shave his shoulder since I always see skin. He does pull back at times, but otherwise I'm at a loss to figure out why I can't give shots anymore!)
I really feel bad because I am constantly messing Rusty up and making his body work harder than it should.

Anyway, I hope you all had a good day. I'm off to visit a few condos now and then will give Rusty his bedtime test and we'll see what's what.

p.s. bedtime test was 172, so maybe it wasn't a fur shot in the evening (or maybe only a partial).

Hi Ella - so sorry for being so late in visiting. I don't know where my day has gone...

Well bummer on the shots - I hope they weren't fur shots. Maybe it was just an off day for Rusty. I am sorry on the shots, wish I had an answer for you. It is good though I think that he never really bounces very high when he doesn't get his full dose. that part is good.

Congrats to Edward - and winning the mystery voice. I hope it was a great prize!

:YMSIGH: on the possible fur shots. but Rusty will turn right back around. I've had bouts where it seemed like I couldn't shoot right too. It will get better.
