Good Morning Everyone,

Thoughts and prayers today for Sara, Moonie, Rocket and all kitties who are in need of them. And special prayers for Iorwen's mom.

We are getting ready to head down to Camp. Rusty is moping on the couch (he doesn't like changes in his routine). Fingers and paws crossed that he doesn't get carsick. We all had a good night and woke up to kitty kisses. Good test, shot, breakfast. I think the shot went in. Looks like we have a bit of a bounce this morning from yesterday's lower numbers. I'm not expecting any greens today, since car trips always spike Rusty's bgs.

The weather is good so far, but rain expected later today and tonight. Tomorrow my DS arrives for a couple of days of relaxing by the lake, doing short paddles, and painting (she is an artist). On Sat. we will visit my other sister's childhood friend, who still comes to the Adirondacks every summer at the age of 85. My other sister has Alzheimers and no longer recognizes people, and her friend really misses being in contact with her (they corresponded by snail mail and e mail for years), so we will try to fill her in on the family.

Everyone have a good day. I'll get out the old laptop at camp this evening to visit condos.

Not a bad start for Rusty! Safe travels to you all, with fingers and paws crossed for no car sickness for Rusty! Sounds like a lovely time in store for you!

Have a good trip to Camp Stu--Hope Rusty has an easy trip--Enjoy your time up there--You know Rusty would rather stay home :lol: --Hope you have a great time with your DS! Family is important..

Hi again and good evening, everyone,

We're here at Camp. Didn't have the best trip: 2 minutes on the road and Rusty vomited up a large hairball--a giganticus! Good for him!. Then he was OK for about 1/2 hour, when he got car sick. But then he was pretty good. When we got here he enjoyed lunch and a nap. At +9.5 he was showing the effects of the trip with a higher bg, but he came down nicely for PMPS. Now, I only hope I didn't give the dreaded fur shot!!

Rusty is off to Simon's OTJ party. We had a nice paddle in the late afternoon. My sister arrives tomorrow in time for lunch. It looks like rain and is rather cool. We can use the rain and it will be good if it only rains at night!

To visit condos now.

Awww poor Rusty, sorry about the barf poor dude. But on the other hand, good that all that hair came out! Thank godness Leo doesn't barf on car trips, we take at least 3 trips a week, he just becomes very talkative!

I hope everyone has fun at Camp this week and the weather cooperates for your paddles, oh and Leo says for me to tell Rusty and the gang to save him some blueberries.

We enjoyed a relaxing evening in Camp. Rusty is still at the OTJ party for Simon, but we expect him back soon, with kitties who might want to have a moonlight swim.

You almost have to wonder...who's more miserable on the car trip? The cat who barfs or the bean who has to clean it up? Hope your stay at camp is awesome!!! Nice to visit with friends and family!!
