Tableau's numbers today are higher than before, as follows:

AMPS 520 (1 unit)

He was so hungry this morning, but wouldn't eat much. We tried everything, to no avail. I was able to get him to eat tonight. He's hungry, but with his stuffed up nose, he sometimes won't eat. Did our first SUBQ fluids at home. Went well.

He had 1 tiny poo today. he has been sleeping alot.

Wish his numbers were better - not looking so good today.

sorry Tableau isn't feeling well. Are you checking for ketones?

It looks like he's bouncing, maybe off of the fast drop last night. It will be interesting to see where he goes tonight.

Looks like your first few days have been all over the map. You are now on day 6, by my count, so you are getting close to starting dose increases. It looks like you are able to test pretty regularly, so that helps reduce any risk. You'll certainly want to get specific advice from someone more experienced than me. :smile:

I saw your other post on the meters. I've been very happy with my Relion Micro. I have not checked against another meter, but whenever I do repeated readings, they've come out within a few percent.

Thanks for stopping by! I have ordered the Relion meter as a backup, so that's good, I also got some control fluid to test my contour when I think the readings are off. Hopefully that will alleviate my anxiety about getting wrong numbers.

We've asked for dosing advice...see what the board says.
