I don't know what is wrong with me being up this early....couldn't sleep. I went to bed quite tired last night...didn't even want to stay up and test Attie. And I really needed too!!! I struggled to stay up an extra 45 minutes to be sure he was in the safezone. Loooks like he surfed green through the night.

When you view it, you might not realize the enormity of what is going on with the planetary placements. Here is an astro- sampler of why this is such a scary and shocking weather event: (a) America completes its 8th Saturn Return at 4:59AM EDT Sunday Aug. 28 -- meaning that our most recent, 29+ year "Identity Crisis" as a nation ends and we start up a new, 29+ year Saturn cycle in Libra; (b) Vesta -- ruling safety and security (personally and collectively) as well as home, hearth, insurance rates/coverage and investments -- is exactly overhead in the NYC zone; (c) Neptune -- main, overall ruler of any hurricane -- is precisely squaring the Rising and Setting degrees in NYC, and Neptune is also elevated, directing the spectacle via television and the multi-media; (d) Mars at 16+ Cancer around 3rd house cusp is less than 1 degree from the Pluto discovery placement from Feb. 18, 1930; (e) Uranus -- seemingly complacent in the 11th house position -- is actually within 1 minute of arc (1/60 of 1 degree of the zodiac) of the potentially confusing-chaotic Saturn/Neptune midpoint in America's birthchart from July 4, 1776, and Uranus was precisely at this same position on May 22, 2011 during the devastating tornado that destroyed much of Joplin, Missouri; (f) the New Moon degree and minute of arc is 5 Virgo 27 -- which is exactly 45-degrees (to within 1 minute of arc) of America's Juno placement at 20 Libra 28. [Among other themes, Juno -- when "emotionally upset" -- rules over atmospheric storms!] Add on the fact that Mercury (an overall major influence regarding communications, and transportation systems -- think evacuation plans here, and shut-downs of major subways, buses and roads, etc) has just stationed and is barely moving while giant Jupiter (ruling every "Big Picture" and large-scale happening) is slowing virtually to a halt this weekend as it prepares to go in reverse early Tuesday Aug. 29. When so many celestial bodies are playing the role of cosmic mischief-makers, earthly affairs often go haywire. There is even more to all this, but I rest my case for now.
