Good Morning Lantus Land! ~O) ~O) ~O)

Hoping all our east coasters are recoverying from their weekend storms! I know many of you have never dealt with such messes or matters. (((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) As my Mom used to say...

Not that she was always having troubles, but that was her attitude when the world got turned upside down. The only time she got a bit depressed was when the house burned down. She was devastated for days. Then I said 'her phrase' and she looked at me, smiled and from there on out we handled the rebuild and refurbish together...with much laughter, fun, and joy. And for the next ten years of her life...that home was filled with love. Huh? Ok I'm crying now thinking about that time.

Anyway....as you can check the SS, Attie is back down again. We shaved the dose too. I'm not sure what his numbers were most of yesterday as we had our own repair 'men" here throughout the day and the kitties all got a bedroom day. He was full of spunk the last two evenings and after Gary was put to bed...Attie & MudCat have had a great big game of chase. They don't play like that when Gary is around. Gary gets into fight mode with all that excitement. Although last night they were playing mouse and footsie under Gary's door. It is like they are trying to teach him kitty social skills for play ;-) .

aww you brought a tear to my eye talking of your mother. Sounds like she had an amazing attitude.

Nice amps for Atlas, happy to hear Gary is being taught some etiquette :lol:

What a great story about your mom. Tuggin' on the ole heart strings this morning. I like her attitude. It sounds like it was a good time then. What a wonderful memory.

Keep in mind many insurance policies don't cover "flooding," but they do cover rain and storm damges!

Whoa...how to freak out the kitties in the morning?

Have them observe the broad-wing hawk take out a squirrel under the bird feeder. All three are now 'watching' from under the daybed! :lol:

Hi guys .. what a nice memory about your mom, thank you for sharing! Atlas's numbers are looking very nice today .. already down to mid greens at +3, can't beat that! I think it's adorable how atlas and mudcat are teaching gary kitty skills through the door :lol: have a great day!

Looks like another day in the :mrgreen: . Trying to be careful here and I admit tonight I am exhausted . We added another puppy onto the route today and she was a surprising handful. And at 5 months already snippy! Not just puppy mouthy, but snippy. I may go all Cesar Milan on the owners to get them into professional training before this puppy becomes a snippy dog. :evil:

So I am having less time here to monitor the Attie-CanCan. I have called him that for a long time now. If anyone can...Attie-Can. :razz: Attie's love of life and desire to be just happy with whatever his situation is such an inspiration. We're coming up on our 1 year Anniversary of being on Lantus. And I never thought I'd see the green run for him. He has truly been on a long road to recovery and even if real remission isn't in his deck of cards, he is happy and healthy.

So ....I need an early to bed tonight. Attie got his raw chicken and a BCS dose on the 84. No carbs tonight ...OK big guy. You had your syrup earlier today ....
