The kitties are just relaxing. It makes me wonder what they have in store for the holiday weekend! Gizmo has been talking up a storm. He left one of his springs next to Gabby's bowl. Do you get the feeling he was sending her a message?

Ok, Gabby, I DO hope that you've come down a bit since this morning's #s.

Sienne, a "Texas Speedbump" is actually an armadillo, which is very destructive, to say the least. It can burrow, and create some pretty nasty holes that can break a horse's leg. We don't like them. There's one running the neighborhood. Thankfully, he hasn't dug anywhere else that I can see (knocking on wood).

As far as the heat wave is concerned... Sorry. :lol: I honestly didn't send it to you, I swear. As it turns out, we're expecting to be in the 80's to very low 90's next week, and that cooler weather can't happen soon enough. This is now officially Day 67 of the triples, and tomorrow we MAY come very close to Day 68 (I hope not). Frankly, I'm tired of this heat. I'll try and send you some cooler air, how's that?

We have a new abbreviation in this condo -- TSA (and I don't mean Transportation Safety Authority) -- Toys Scattered All over. I came home to find Gabby wrapped around her kickeroo, wands spread around the bedroom, a catnip lemon in the call, a fuzzy mouse on the bed, and springs in the kitchen. Apparently, there was a party going on here while I was at tbp.

:lol: i have this image of kitties sprawled by catnip branches with a toy debris field all around them! it was a wild friday at your place while you were gone!

i've never heard of a texas speedbump either. never seen an armadillo. apparently the next time i'm in texas i should get out of the airport. ;-)

I may have to borrow TSA! Same thing happens here. I come home to find the kitten and the 9 year old civvie laid out in the center of a room and every toy that's gone missing for months has been found and scattered like a debris field. Crazy felines!
