Good Morning, Everyone,

Raining still, cold, terrific camp weather! We decided not to go down to camp until the late afternoon. Tomorrow isn't supposed to be much better, but we want to make sure that Rusty is comfortable there before we have to be out all day on Friday at the canoe race.
Rusty is either bouncing this morning, or the shot I gave last night was a partial fur shot (it was questionable at the time). In any event, he's not yellow! The new dose did wonders yesterday. I hope I measured OK this morning. My eyes don't work too well at this time of day! We have all Ps in place this morning and are hoping for a good Rusty day.

Back later: lots of chores to do.

Hey Kitties, I'll meet you at Camp later this afternoon. You can sleepover and we'll have a rainy-day party. Tomorrow we can fish and swim and sing in the rain.

Hey Rusty! I am going to Leo's grandparents mousing with him today. I think he misses his bean and I have never been mousing before. Then I will head to Camp Stu. Can't wait! - Tarragon

sorry about the weather, it's getting quite cool here as well but I love the fall. Rain is no good though. Hope you get very nice camp/canoe weather and Rusty comes on down for you.

Yes, I live an area where there have been wildfires, but thankfully none closeby, and I'm watching ever so closely, too. It's extremely dry around here, hence the fires are popping up. There is no rain in sight for a long time, either. We need rain.

Hi guys .. yay on rusty not being yellow! I hope the extra juice does wonders for him again today and he comes down to some nice greens for you .. hope the weather clears up for the canoe race this weekend .. have a great day guys!

Paws crossed that this is just a bounce and he clears it soon. I hope you can get settled at camp and stay nice and warm there. Drive safely in the rain.

Sleepover? Oh Boy! I'll get there early to help you get everything ready. Crabapples…hmmmm…… I can do that. Maybe we can squeeze some for Gracie to use too. -- Tess

It looks like Rusty is headed up. The shot this morning got in, so this is either a bounce or . . .
We'll be leaving for camp in a couple of hours. I'll get a +8.5 or +9 before we go.
See you later. There is a warning up for flash floods, but I don't think we will be going through a flood-prone area. I wish we could send all this rain to Texas!!!

Hi Ella, sorry about the rain and hope it's okay at camp. I hope Rusty clears the bounce. I think you also wait to hear the slight pop as I do.

Hey Kitties, Change of plans: My beans say that it is too awful to drive to Camp Stu today, so we're not going until tomorrow. If anyone is already on the road and can't turn around, the key is under the mat! Fishing rods are on the porch. There's food in the 'fridge. Sorry, but it's terrible outside!!

Well, Rusty said it all: the weather has really deteriorated since I last posted. We decided to hold off going until tomorrow morning. In the meantime, it looks like Rusty has decided to surf the upper blues. That's fine if that's the end of the bounce/ or the fur shot.

It wasn't the end of the bounce!!! I hope tonight's shot got in (the syringe didn't "pop" out). But in any event I didn't smell insulin. There was, however, a drop left on the end of the syringe that I couldn't pull back in to shoot.
Rusty had a brief but energetic play with the Cat Charmer this afternoon, a good combing with his papabean, a good Wellness turkey dinner, well watered, and is now napping. All Ps accounted for today (including 3 pees since about 5 A.M., so I hope we're OK on that worry).

The weather for tomorrow afternoon sounds better, so I'm really glad we didn't do that trip down to camp this afternoon in the driving rain. We'll get to Camp in time for lunch tomorrow. All the kitties may already be there!

Awwww Ella, Rusty sounds soooo loved by both you and Edward.....he's a very lucky kitty. Too bad about the weather, sounds like a monsoon over there. Hopefully the weather clears up for your trip to Camp Stu and for your paddle too.

Rusty, the kitties are over at my grandparents place for mouse hunting lessons, so sharpen your claws and head on over, maybe tomorrow we can hunt for that mouse at Camp Stu!

Hi Ella - so so sorry to be so late in visiting you. I had it set in my head that I did this morning, and could come back later to see how your day went. uh... seems I never made it this morning. :roll: :roll:

Sorry for the rise in Rusty's numbers... Rusty - back to the blues and greens, OK? Try not too worry.. I am sure he'll find better ones tomorrow.

Bummer on your weather today too. It is probably a good decision that you waited. What weather you ave been having!

Rusty!! We parked the bus in the garage... the kitties decided it was better to wait - besides that huge mouse hunting party at Leo's has just taken off. I am so glad that you can make it!! I so wanna be a better mouser! hey... Leo says we can grill them too: his DGp will grill for us! see you there! ~~ Mannie
 
I hope Rusty gets back down into those lovely green numbers soon and that next week's dental will help.

Sorry you couldn't get to Camp Stu. Tobey is so disappointed. He went out and bought waders....determined as he was to see you, Ella!
