Good morning, Lantus Land!

we are officially back...the good news is regaining our skills was MUCH easier than riding a bike!

I coffee'd up with 2.0 cups...he juiced up with 1.0 unit :-D

His last hi carbage was 2 days ago on the 9th...a free-for-all meal for 3 days up until i got home and tossed the kibble bowl
(with much blue language, as you can imagine)

This road to return was brought to you by soulful glances from the Binkster at mealtime at his temporary caregiver...which were rewarded
with gravy foods, Purina kibble, kitten food left over from the Foster Cutie...and scrambled eggs.
And a failure to get his dental done in a timely manner...

At least that's what we're hoping!
he will be vetted around the 22nd, full checkup and dental at that time...until then we'll give him what support he needs...
(well, and for as long he needs it, of course) :-D

he did, however, exit the kitchen double time when the syringe appeared...which gives me an opportunity to post this...

Celi and Binks....Welcome back! I hope you don't stay too long ;-) !

Hopefully Binks just needs a brief period of support, removal of all temptation, and a few CA (Carbs Anonymous) meetings to get him back on track. Oh yeah, and maybe he needs his little kitten back, too :-D !

When I saw Binks name appear with number associated with a color that shall not be named right now, I literally said out loud "What the BINKS?!?!" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Always a delight to have you guys.... hope your stay is short. God, I love that Dr. Tinycat!!!

Somehow, I think Gracie's stinkeye needs to be directed at the substitute caregiver that indubitably ignored Celi's directions about the evil ways of kibble and why HC food is not for diabetic cats (or diabetic cats in remission). Perhaps some sugar in dear nephew's gas tank would be a means of underscoring the kind of problem he's created.

Oh no, Binkster, too much junkie food there, huh! Did you have a petsitter, or are you talking about yourself. I'm not awake yet! ~O) The pic is too funny and appropriate. Maggie can't wait to visit the Binkster. Good luck with the 1 unit.

Which really brings home the fact that the stink eye should be aimed at me for choosing to leave Binks' welfare in his hands.

seemed like the only viable option at the time...but my worst fears were proven...so this won't happen again.

strangely...the B-man seems to be really enjoying the attention today...
parking it on the test rug and purring prodigiously!!!

crazy little poop.

will be back in about an hour to visit condos....we've been too long away!

Hi Celi, I didn't see your earlier post(s). I've been petsitting myself, running back and forth, spending time between my home and DD's.
I'm sorry to see Binks back here, but I'm betting it's short term. I had a problem with Checkers and pain, last week.
His bg soared, either from pain, or the nasty reaction he had to a drug.
He ended up being on insulin again, for 2 days, then down to normal again. He's green again, without insulin, but I'm terrified the he won't stay down. But hey, I'm a worry wart. :roll:
Long story, and this is the Binkster's condo. :smile:

Hey Binks, my bean had to give me insulin for a couple of days recently, but I came down to pretty green again, so I'm sure you will do the same thing, when all that nasty food has cleared your system. We'll stay in the green lagoon together, okay?

I am sorry you are back, but hope it will be a short stay. In the meantime - what fun to be had here. So sorry on the temp caregiver... what a bummer!

OMG, I am gasping. And strangely intrigued all at the same time.... And then there's Gracie!!!!

At least today was relatively flat! I'm sure Dorothy's shed will be full in no time!!
