9/11, a day of remembrance:
This photo with the World Trade Center in the distance was taken from the roof deck of our co-op building in Brooklyn. After 9/11 the absence of the WTC and the smoke that drifted over our neighborhood for 3 or 4 months were a constant reminder of loss. Our local firehouse, a first-responder unit, lost half it's men. I am watching the memorial on TV this morning in tears.
3 hours later: we had a power outage. I've tested Rusty 3 times and he's probably starting a bounce from that 65 AMPS! (Tested twice at AMPS and got 63 on the second test!!). I just rushed back from the finish line of the canoe race to test Rusty and give him his lunch and am headed back (on my bike). I'll be keeping a close eye on him today. Decided to shoot a fat 1.00 (instead of 1.25) this morning. I'm not convinced that the 1.25 wasn't too much insulin.
Back later. Rusty is acting normally. I hope we broke the yellow log jam!! Will visit condos later.
