Stella's Condo

Good Morning!

I have been working like crazy so I haven't really been able to get many tests in. Stella is doing amazing! She has her weight back on and I am sure the vet will be amazed how large she is in her 'normal' state for a female. She has incredibly long legs and a long spine and when healthy every inch of her is filled in. :lol: I bet the vet will tell me to start watching her weight now...which I am doing...but just like me...she goes up and down a couple of sizes even when she has the same food intake. Ha! You would be wowed by how Stella moves herself around...she is every bit of her healthy personality and little hunter too. She is jealous of all of the cats out there that are able to catch 'real' mice. ;-)

Good morning you two !

I just looked in at your SS. Looks like life has been busy for you both! I'm glad to see you back at a constant number for a few to give her a chance to respond as we all know she does so beautifully. That 2.25 unit seemed like the last good one....so it will be interesting to see what she gives you with 2.0, our fingers and paws are crossed! I saw your note about the same BG night to day....Boo does that; just flattens out on a dose.

So good to know she is feeling great and looking great. It is soooo bizarre how we forget who they were. The change just seems to happen before our eyes and we don't seem to "get it"....Funny, funny creatures we are :? :?

Hi guys .. sounds like a great report for stella! I am so happy to hear she is putting on weight (and what lady doesn't fluctuate a few sizes??) I hope the vet is impressed with your care for her .. have a great day!

It looks like the 2U just might be kicking in this evening. Whew. I am wondering if this little bump in the dance was a combo of the missed shot, my not being home, and the heatwave that just passed through here in CA. Today it is back to normal temps, I am home, and Stella has decided to go blue this evening with a 137. Finally!

My goal is to keep Stella in the blues now, because my schedule is picking up and I am afraid if we coast in the greens and I am not here when she is ready for the next reduction she might go too low without me here to boost her BG's. I know many of you were wondering about it. It may not be ideal...but I just want to keep it safe.

Stella is a beauty. She and Boo were playing with the feather this evening...and Stella had extra 'fire' in her eyes. :evil: Like I have said...she has her 'bite' back. ;-) And... a mind of her own... which tells me even with the high BG's these last few days... she is her own feline once again. :mrgreen:
