Yesterday Jetta 9/14
Well Good Morning LL,

In case you missed it, Jetta won back her diving queen title last night in dramatic fashion! She's bouncing of course this morning. The MC food and the gravy fixed her right up though, and I managed to get 6 hours sleep, so I guess all's well that ends well!

We've made a big decision here- DH will begin training tonight for testing and shooting while I'm away. I have been really fortunate not to have any travel during this inital month after Jetta's DX, but I've got alot of trips coming up. I'm sure DH will do fine. Or at least I keep telling myself that. I'm not sure who's more nervous, me , DH, or Jetta!! DH and Jetta just do't have the trust Jetta and I do that allows me to work with her so easily. I think we're settled on a "if in any doubt don't shoot" plan. Probably not the best plan for Jetta's long term hope of remission, but given that DH can't commit to testing and staying up half the night to bring her up if needed, it's the most sensible plan. He also works about 11 hours a day, so DM will be checking on her throughout the day and feeding the mini-meals Jetta is so used to, but DM will not be testing. My part in all this is to find all red-eye flights so I can be home for as many shoots as possible. Anyhow, it's coming together, so wish us luck with the training!

Good morning! Great night for Jetta. Hope you are able to get some rest today.

Good plan on the travels. Nice to have a plan going forward. Jetta and DH may become closer. It's amazing how the kitty knows that we are just trying to help them.

WOw...Jetta....do you really like the title of diving queen?? Really?? Clearing that bounce pretty quickly, I'd say!!!!!!

Sounds like a good plan and you may find a bond will develop between DH & Jetta....once she learns she can trust him to take care of her, the way you do. Have a good day, Jaclyn!

DH can always post while you're gone. We'll even let Mike, Marje's DH, come visit. In fact, we can have several of the guys on the board visit so your DH feels more comfortable.

Sounds like a plan, and as Sienne pointed out, he can post for help here in LL.

Good idea to train DH. I could not have managed without DBF (aka the nightwatchman) being able to test, shoot and post, especially when I was on business travels.

I think the guys can do more than they ever give themselves credit for. The only thing Mike doesn't do is shoot and it's not because he's not able to....it's because we just like the consistency of one person drawing the dose and shooting.

Well, Jetta recoved from her bounce and had a fairly nice blue surf today.

DH's lessons didn't begin tonight due to my insane day at work. At least the weekend's almost here, we can work on it then. Thanks for all the pre-support! DH may very well need it! He was near panic tonight when we talked about it at dinner. I think we're going to skype video chat, at least for my first trip, during his test shoot feed. Should be helpful for us both!!!

Sorry I didn't get to any condos today. If Jetta keeps me up tongiht I'll pop in later!

DH can do it! I know he can! My DH shares a lot of Trixie's care...but, while he lurks and reads Trixie's condo, he doesn't actually venture into LantusLand. Maybe one day...
