Good Morning, Everyone,

Sunshine will happen today (after the fog lifts) and I am sweeping a mountain-bike ride on an old railroad bed way up in the "boonies". Edward and Rusty will hold the fort. I expect to be back in time for +9.

Rusty had a good night, good test and good shot (!), and enjoyed 2 sittings of breakfast. He also got his last-of-the-season application of flea & tick preventative. Shadow was here late yesterday afternoon, but Rusty didn't want to come outside. Maybe they'll "interact" later today.

Today is day 42 on this cartridge of Lev., so I am planning to start a new one either this evening or tomorrow morning. I hope the fresh insulin will help bring Rusty's range back down to what we consider to be "normal" for him: low blues and high greens.

Back later. We are sending the most positive thoughts to Punkin. Also sending healing vines to Mannie, Elsa, Tobey and Gus that their teeth and gums will feel much better today. Also sending healing vines to all kitties who might be under the weather.

Good morning! Glad you made it back. Rusty must have been tired from camp and didn't want to socialize with Shadow. :lol:

Have a great time on your ride. Sounds like fun. Hopefully the sun comes out for you. Edward and Rusty will have it under control so no worries.

Good luck with the new juice. Hope it gives Rusty the jump start he needs.

Hi guys .. Not a terrible start to the day for rusty, a little higher then normal but hopefully the new pen will continue to bring him down even more .. I hope you enjoy your bike ride today and maybe if shadow comes around again rusty will want to hang out .. have a great day!

New insulin might be just the ticket!! I'm sure he'll do just fine.

Sounds like you have a fun day planned!! Where do you and Michelle get all your energy!! I wish I could buy it cuz I seriously need some!!

Enjoy your bike ride today! I bet, too, Rusty's numbers will come down today with the new pen. Maggie says to tell Rusty "thanks for the chicken soup" which helped her feel better so she could go on and party.

Hi again,
We start the new pen tomorrow morning. It looks as if today might have been another pretty flat day. Edward and Rusty had a good time together while I was out on the bike ride. Rusty was hunting chipmunk in the stone wall (Chip-Chip got away). The boys also walked up into the wooded portion of our backyard and Rusty chased some critter, maybe just a bug (Edward doesn't see too well!) Shadow came around looking for Rusty and they had a brief encounter.

I had a really challenging 30-mile ride on dirt and sandy roads, some "paved" roads, but not on the old railroad bed. It sounded too awful. The group split up and some did the RR bed (some started it and gave up after about 1/2 mile; 3 people finished it). The rest of us stuck to the roads and boy, were there ever hills!! One hill was 3 miles long. But it was a beautiful day and there were some stunning views. We had lunch at an old tavern and had a great time.

Off now to visit some condos. We hope that everything is OK in LL tonight.

Moonie & Rusty are in a blue mood today! You do have a LOt of energy Ella, I get tired just seeing where you are going :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Glad Rusty saw his pal and was doing some hunting today--Hope he sees green tomorrow.
