9/23 Rusty PMPS 196, +4.5 175

Good Morning, Everyone,

Well, I don't know what happened to my kitty last night and this morning. He was doing so well yesterday, then all of a sudden at bedtime his bg was 229 (tested again and it was 231!). I didn't think it was a fur shot at PMPS, and even if it was, that's a huge jump in 4 hours. This morning he's at virtually the same spot. Aside from the numbers, Rusty seems fine. I wonder if the new pen could be bad. I used it again this morning, so we'll see.

I came down with a horrible migraine last night. Edward had forgotten to turn off the stove while he was drying out a cast-iron skillet and the smokey smell of burning iron filled the house (but didn't set off any smoke detectors!). An hour later I got the headache and still have it this morning (had to go btb, where Rusty joined me--what a dear kitty he is to watch over me).

Well, I guess I've complained enough. The sun is shining (it was supposed to rain!) and I'm going to take Rusty outside. Back later with a noontime test.

We are sending prayers and healing vines to Tableau, Boris, and all kitties who need them. And sening good-travels vines to Punkin and his family.

Good morning! Weird on the PMPS and AMPS for Rusty. You will probably never know why and he will be back to his normal blue/green self soon.

Yucko on the migraine. My DH gets them and something as simple as a smell can set them off. Hope it goes away soon and you are able to enjoy your beautiful day outside.

Hi guys .. sorry to hear about your migraine .. I hope it eases up for you today .. Rusty, what's up with these yellows? Is that your new favorite color or something? I hope you realize you look much better in blues and greens .. hope you guys have a great weekend!

Yuck on the migraine!!! Weird how sometimes our kitties numbers just seem to go high for no reason. Not knowing why is the frustrating part! I'm sure it'll improve, but now, Rusty, NOW!!!

HI again,
Rusty is coming down, so I guess the pen is OK. It's just the cat!! He had a nice half hour outside with Edward, looking for the squirrel, a nice lunch. I weighed him and he is 16 lbs., 5 oz. (down from 16 lbs. 10 oz. a month ago; the weight-reduction program seems to be working; last winter he weighed 15 lbs. 5 oz. and I would like to see him around that weight again).

My migraine is much better, although lingering in the background. As long as it stays there, it's OK!!

That +5 is much more promising. Take good care of your bean, Rusty, she takes care of you so it's your turn now. Make sure she takes it easy today.

I don't know what to make of these numbers. I'm going to go back to the old cartridge this evening and see if it makes a difference.
(maybe I'll open a new cartridge; I have 2 left from my Canadian shipment). (The new pen I just bought is one I bought singly, so if it turns out to be a bad pen, I'll just take it back to the pharmacy.)

Rusty just had a "play date" with Shadow. They circled each other. They chased. I don't think Rusty was enjoying himself.

Rusty came down a little at PMPS. I went back to the old cartridge and used it for the evening shot. We'll see what we see. We were only 2 cycles on the new pen.

Hi guys - so sorry for being SO LATE in visiting you! I am sorry about your migraine, but glad that it is better. Wow on Rusty - I wonder what is up - he sounds like he is fine too. Maybe it as the pen?

Rusty - this equinox party is the best. I love this place - it is so cool!!!! Nice big leaf piles too. Thanks for getting the party off the ground today.... my bean took off, and shut down the 'puter!!! I was so clueless.... OK! Party on - on the bus! ~~ Mannnie
