Good morning LLand! What a BEAUTIFUL morning we have here inside. Yesterday's CURVE!
KT's AMPS - 190 BLUE!!!
On top of that, he's got every single P in place except the one he knocked under the chair (green pea shaped ball). He and Shu have been playing for the last half hour...there's hair all over the place! When they play, it's LOUD - they're both 17 lbs and love to play what we call "Friday night throwdown".
It's gonna be a good day! AND PEPPER - COME HOME PLEASE! Your NEW furever home. Lots of prayers for Pepper as well as all his beans.
NOW THE NEAT STORY:
OH - Have to share something else and almost want to make a whole new topic for it. I've been threatening to test Snowshoe's (civvie) BG levels BUT he's NOT a cooperative cat. I think it's Michelle's Tarragon - not the 'sweet, nice, lovin' cuddly cat' either. If you don't pet him his way (head and neck only), he bites, slaps, etc. When I try to trim knots and mats out, he goes ballistic, eyes become dilated, he gets terrified and scratches, bites, anything to get away. This is from something that happened before we rescued him 4 years ago. It took 2 years before I could just brush his back with a soft brush.
Last night at KT's test time, SNOW jumps up in the testing place and lays down! SHOCK SHOCK! OK, big boy, I'm loaded and ready for KT so let's try you. I was prepared for blood and SCARS but really not nervous. So........here we go - cocked, poked, tested - was 55 - HE NEVER EVEN MOVED!!! PURRED THE WHOLE TIME!!! I had to pick him up and move him off the shelf! WOW!
Have a wonderful day! ........and please say a prayer for Pepper to come home - she's desperately missed.
