Good Morning, Everyone,

It looks as if the doscrease is working. Fingers and paws crossed. We had a good night and woke up to kitty kisses and ear-licks, also a mighty sneeze (Rusty's sneezes are quite something, rivaled only by Edward's). Good test (back in his old "range"--yea!), good shot (!)--I shot again midway between the shoulder blades where it is easier to see skin (a spot recommended by Roni), and Rusty didn't even complain this morning!!! Neither Edward nor I smelled Lev., so here's hoping. Breakfast was consumed in 2 sittings. Then we had a great play with 2 new toys that MJ+Donovan and Butthead's spirit sent to Rusty: a butterfly on a wand and 3 small pompons on a wand. He was fascinated and played with great animation. (Thank you, MJ! And thank you, too, for remembering Stu.) Then we went outside to look for the squirrel (he wasn't there), and now Rusty is chillaxin' on the couch.

Today is a day of remembrance for us: it is the first anniversary of Stu's passing. I will open an anniversary condo for him later with some pictures. This morning I went out and picked a sprig of his catmint to put next to his little box on the piano.

We hope that all is well in LL this morning. We continue to send thoughts of sympathy to Marje and Mike, and healing vines to all kitties in need of them.

Morning guy!

I thought of Stu today... I just cannot believe that it has been a year. A day to remember.

It is good to see that amps this morning - more Rusty like! I often used the spot between the shoulder blades too - it is so much easier to find skin on these long hairs.... :roll:

I didn't get a chance to visit your condo yesterday to see Rusty got a dosecrease. Good luck with it, and I think he likes it. Great with playing with the toys, too. It's always great when we can get them to move and exercise. I remember Stu and his great menus for all of the special occasions, such a special kitty. Have a nice day.

I can't believe it has been a year. We will light a candle in honor of Stu today; I am so happy he is there and waiting for our Teddi. I would love to honor him on a memorial condo. Thank you so much for all your amazing support, comforting words, and for just being there. No where else are there such amazing people who truly understand this kind of loss. We will be forever grateful.

I am so happy to see Rusty's numbers coming down. I haven't done condos but I scroll through to see how everyone is doing. I know his numbers must have been troubling but I'm very glad to see him responding to the dosecrease.

Tobey and Gracie send their love...esp Tobes. He wants to come give you a big hug today to comfort you.

Hi again,
I find these numbers absolutely baffling. I'm sure it was not a fur shot this morning. It almost seems as if for the recent cycles AMPS is the nadir and everything just rises after that until "onset" begins at PMPS +4 or thereabouts.
I'll stick with this new 1.50 dose for the required time because of NDW, but I'm not sure that he might not be getting too much insulin. Any thoughts?

Much better numbers today but c'mon Rusty you can come down a wee bit more.

Sounds like Rusty has had a pretty awesome day today, playing and looking for squirrels.

I hope Rusty settles into this dose for you. It is so frustrating to see this. Hopefully this is just a bump in the road and he will return to his beautiful cycles. Sending positive vines to you, Edward and Rusty. Have a wonderful evening.
