Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

Yesterday's numbers were a wonderful and welcome surprise. Maybe Rusty can do something similar today. We had a good night and awoke to kitty headbutts. Good test, good breakfast (2 sittings) and, hopefully, a good shot. It certainly is much easier to see skin between the shoulder blades (thanks, Roni)!

Dark and blustery today with showers. It's supposed to get much colder this weekend (highs in the 40s tomorrow) with showers and brisk winds. We will go down to camp (without Rusty) tomorrow to close it up for the winter (bring home the perishables, drain the water and take out the water line, etc.). This is always a little sad to think that the camp season is over for the year. Of course, we could always haul some water in and "camp" in the camp. Or just go down there for the day and sit on the porch if we have some "Indian summer" days. We'll see. In any event, the kitties will have no problem going there for their parties. They can chop a hole in the lake for water and ice fishing, they will have the fireplace (and also the propane heater) and the stove--basically everything except running water.
The leaves are falling quickly. Autumn is indeed here!

Morning and nice AMPS for Rusty. I bet he has a really nice cycle today. Have a nice day and sorry so cool there today. The area between the shoulder blades seems to be the way to go with Rusty, thanks to Roni, so glad that's working. That would be a little sad closing up camp for the winter, but so glad the kitties can still visit and chop a hole in the lake for water and ice fishing. They look forward to it and sitting on the porch. Thanks for stopping by our condo last evening and mentioning the beef problem with kitties. I can see now looking back that is it with Maggie, no more beef, but yes to FF T & G and chicken & fish.

Nice start for the day for Rusty! Sorry Fall is here, but the weather isnt done with some warmer days, so dont be glum yet!
Glad the shots in the shoulder blades is working for you--Moonie doesnt squawk so much when I shoot her there--Her skin is a little tough where I used to shoot her, so I found this a nice soft area for her!
Glad the kitties can still use Camp Stu! They love it so there & the Big Halloween shindig is coming up for them!

Good morning! Nice AMPS for Rusty today! I bet it is beautiful there in the fall. Good luck closing up camp for the season. Kind of bittersweet I am sure. At least the kitties will get the use out of it during the off season. :lol:

Hey Rusty! I heard they are closing up the camp. Dude! At least we can still go down there without them hanging around so much. I want to learn to ice skate this year. Maybe we can do that once the water freezes over. - Tarragon

Good start again today for Rusty, keep it up big guy. I's always hared to see the end of the season, although I do love fall. It's just too short! enjoy you day at camp even if it is a working holiday.

Hi again,
When Rusty came in (was taken in) for his +5 he had been having his daily "encounter" with Shadow and he (not Shadow) had just chased the squirrel up a tree! He wants to go back out, but I have to go shopping. (Edward might go out with him.) It looks like today is a bg resting day (although the encounters with Shadow and the squirrel may have raised his bg level). We'll see where he is when I get back.

I used to go to upstate NY for work....so I understand your sadness that the lovely days are coming to an end!
