After several beautiful blue cycles, Zener zipped up to the pinks! He was heading up last night in the early part of his cycle and I may have provided a food spike too. When I fed him @+5, he ate about 1/2 and I left it out, expecting to wake up around +6 or 7 and pick up whatever he hadn't eaten. And, I didn't wake up until the alarm went off this morning. We suspect he may have eaten the "leftovers" around +10 or +11. :YMSIGH:

Thank goodness he is coming down and not staying high too long, paws crossed! We got a +3 since he had such a big drop at +2 and looks like he hopped off the express train. So, all looks good for me to go to work and come home at lunch for a mid-cycle check. We had to nudge our furnace on this morning to take the chill out of the air. The kitties were very excited!

Hope everyone has a good Monday in LL!

Ok Zener...slowly clear that bounce like a good boy!!!

Have a great day, Anne and Liz.

Thanks for stopping by Marje and encouraging Zener to slowly go down. He must have read his condo while I was at work and is following your directions!

Looks like it is a bounce and not a food spike. flip_cat
Oh well... I guess it shouldn't be all that unexpected after several nice blue and even low blue cycles. Our best run so far!

Zener eased into his cycle very nicely after the big dive at +2. I smell a bounce. Shame on you feeding the king leftovers. Oh the horror. Glad you were able to get what must have been much needed rest.

I can not wait to turn the heat on. DH really drags his feet on that one. It was 48 this morning and 96 today. WTH?? A 50 degree differential makes for a lot of sick co-workers. The AC is still on.

Hugs to you and Liz and extra scritches to the kitties.

Leftovers    That really tickles me!

Yep, I do believe it is a bounce. And he's been on a slow gradual slide back to blues all day!

Wow, that is some temp differential for OK isn't it? We typically have 40-50 degree differential here this time of year, but we are high altitude and arid, so it's not unusual. Though right now we are having rain, and snow showers are in our forecast for later this week! :o

Hope you and the T-ster have a good evening!

Could the bounce be breaking so soon? flip_cat Wow!

Mondays are tough days for the beans. We have busy teaching schedules. We're able to get several tests in before we leave and one of us can usually get home mid-cycle. Thank goodness Zener didn't stay in the pinks very long, and had a nice slow slide after his initial drop. He is back in the blues already! :-D Will keep an eye on him tonight. These numbers could go anywhere!

And now we're mellow yellow....

AMPS 331, 17th cycle @ 1.00u, 0.6oz 11% + 0.2oz 5%
+2 246, 0.6 11% + 0.3 5%, urine neg for ketones
+3 232, 0.6oz 11% + 0.3oz 5%
+7 204, 0.6oz 11% + 0.1% 1%
+11.5 178
PMPS 179, 18th cycle @ 1.00u, 0.85oz 11%
+1 0.85oz 11%
+2 222

We're telling Zener a fattening of his dose may be in order when this bounce breaks so we can get his entire cycle down. Threats of a dosecrease have been useful in the past. ;-)

Was a long day with beans gone, but the kitties had a good evening prowling the backyard and staring at the woodpile, in between rain showers. We have a few inches of snow in the forecast for later this week. The kitties WILL NOT like that!

Ni ni LL and we wish many sweet dream memories of Tableau for Emily, who is so sad and missing her beloved kitty.
