Yowser, what a start to this cycle! With last night's big game mouse hunt and Zeners BG numbers - this is an active weekend. :shock:

The boy is feeling better this morning post-pepcid and is out prowling in his backyard. All Ps in place. Also, he jumped up from a chair on to the top of a filing cabinet in Liz's office, where she has blankets for him to perch on and look out the window. He has not been able to get up there since his diagnosis, unless Liz picks him up and puts him there. I went to get him for the +2.5 and there he sat, smug as could be. Liz is out biking this morning so he had to get himself up there! And I just saw him leap up on his bench in the backyard! :-D

Plans were to go to our last Farmer's Market of the season, but looks like poke-fest is the plan for now. +3 coming up!

So sorry to read of Jetta not feeling well and sending lots of healing energy to her and her bean. And more of the same to our other kitties and beans who need it this Sunday morning. :YMHUG:

Awwwwwww.... Jessica, that picture is sooo cute! I remember when Zener was that size. When we got him he was 5 weeks old, a rescue, and only weighed 1 1/4 lb. Hope all is well with you this Sunday!

Thanks for the pic Marje, Zener's got his board shorts on, even with the cold weather! I'm jealous that you and Liz will meet up at Christmas. I'll be home doing kitty duty. But don't feel bad, I travel a lot and Liz does the duty when I'm away. ;-)

We decided to add in some 11% carbs because Zener hasn't really eaten very much this cycle. We started off pretty early with the 1/2t 17% to steer and didn't want to fill him up.

We love the idea! We are thinking to fat 0.75 or skinny 1.0 starting tonight. What do you think? Thank you for your help. We really appreciate it.

Our kitties were certainly nosing around the scene of the hunt last night. Ever hopeful, they are! At least they do not bring us gifts inside! :o

Thanks Georgia, we are in complete agreement about a new dose!

Zener has been in the greens all day, and now we're starting to get nervous about PMPS, though it is 3 hours away and these numbers can go anywhere! :lol:

Zener is still in the 90s with the Alpha Trak @ +11.5. And we fed him a little 11% carb at +9. We are planning to shoot his new reduced dose of f.75 but are reluctant to shoot at all this low. We will wait another 30 minutes and test again. We can stall about 30 minutes but don't have much flexibility because of our teaching schedules. Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks for the bumps. :-D The AT is about 30 points higher than a human meter. So, on a human meter he would be about 68 right now.

He is 94 @ +12. We are not comfortable shooting this number. We can wait another 30 minutes.

He's on the way up at 12.5 and is 115. We fed him. We have shot as low as 118, but this would be our lowest. He earned a reduction today, and we were planning on a f.75, a shaved dose, rather than the full reduction since he has not held so well in the past. Do you think this is okay? Or should we skip and start with the new dose tomorrow?

Hi Melissa, thanks for your support, it has been a very busy green day! We're not sure about the differences in some of these fat to skinny doses either! @-) What we did was measure up the 1.0u and twist out 2 drops for a fat 0.75u. Hope you and the Tmeister have a nice sunday evening.

Okey dokey, we stalled for 30 minutes and tested @ +12.5 and he was 115. We put on our big girl britches and did it - our lowest dose ever! We shot the new shaved dose - a fat 0.75. I measured up the 1.0u and twisted out 2 drops. It's a little hard to tell exactly the difference in this and a .75 but at least we'll be consistent. ;-)

We are not the nervous nelly types, but it has been a nerve wracking day! nailbite_smile

I was tempted to not shoot at all and start with the new dose in the AM. Liz, who really is German heritage, is much braver than I. By the time we made our decision and fed the big guy, who was getting quite vocal about his lack of dinner, it was 7 pm MST. So, we ended up shooting 50 minutes later than our regular shot time. Since this is our lowest shooting ever, we'll get early cycle checks.

@Ann, it has been a busy & green weekend! We have paws crossed for the dose shave. ;-)

@Julie, the numbers aren't in yet on sleep or another poke fest! Zener is such a trooper. The video has really helped us cut down on bubbles. :-D

@Marje, Liz wears the big girl britches well. I'm not so very brave. :roll:
