Looking good today. Green is good.

Rocky Horror Picture Show last night was fun ending to a really stressful day. Could have done without the tree that fell on the roof. Roof is intact. Didn't see any breaches in the membrane. :razz: Problem is that it fell from half way down the gully and was quite rotten. That and it hitting the duck corral and duck coop help save the roof. There are a lot of tall trees in that gully so I have to get someone out here to evaluate all of the trees withing striking distance. Also could have done without the power outage, which is why we didn't post again. Oh well. After the power went out I decided to go up to the township hall to the fire department's annual pig roast. Good food. Saw some friends. Best of all, it was warm. Won a case of bottled water in the door prize drawing. Just what I've always wanted. The person who has around 5 regular water bottles. Oh well. Keep it around for the next power outage because there will be one.

We just had a hail storm. Poor chickens got caught it hit so suddenly.

Paisley's been wandering around today. Made an effort to NOT start a fight.

Yeah, green is good, and looks fine on Paisley! It's scary having a tree fall on you house, but it sounds like you got lucky. It also sounds like you made the best of the day.

I have to agree that sounds like a bit too much excitement. Paisley is looking good, though. :smile:

Back up some. I did feed her more than I had been. The canned food I started using calls for more cans/pound of body weight than the FF. This is Purina ProPlan Adult Chicken & Liver Entre'e. No grains or wheat gluten. It's not on Janet & Binky's list.

When the tree fell, I was sitting right under where it hit, talking on the phone. A bit startling.

it may have higher carbs than whatever you were feeding her earlier. that's a mighty high jump in numbers, although it might not be related to the kind of food. no way to know. you may want to do a little trial and see if that food increases her numbers.

does sound like a lotta excitement last night! zowser. trees falling all around - i have a sudden image of Dorothy in the wizard of oz! :lol: take care!
