We went ahead and put the drop back on his dose, so we're at a s0.75. While his nadirs are still green, I wasn't liking the widening of his curve, and at s0.75, we were seeing green, but not going too low, so I'm going to keep him there for the time being, until the point at which he starts running too low. Picked up a new pen today, so we are set for when his current pen starts to go wonky. Willie has had a good day... lots of pets the past few days from DS, but when she went home today, Willie was quick to reclaim "his" bed. :lol: :lol: :lol: He's been keeping me company on the sofa as I worked today. I haven't been feeling terribly terrific, so the company has been welcome.

Hope everyone has had a good day. We continue to keep those who've lost their beloveds in our hearts this week.

Gabby's Lantus is also labeled for, "Gabby the Cat." I hope you told Willie that he's not allowed alcoholic beverages while taking his Lantus.

Funny how pharmacies handle animal names. Trixie is "Trixie C. Haftkowycz", and her l\Lantus also says "No booze"!!!

Well apparently Leo can get sauced up while he's on the juice cause his prescription doesn't say that!!! BTW Leo's says "Leo Gaudry (cat)" Too funny Christie!! :lol: :lol: :lol: I guess pharmacists don't read what they print out.

Got a sales/marketing call the other day, and the person said they had reason to believe there was a diabetic in the house. "Well, nobody here is diabetic, except for the cat"

I remember when I first filled the script, and the relatively new pharmacy tech was insistent that I provide his date of birth. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Thankfully, I encountered a better tech when picking up the script... she laughed and then changed the random number I'd picked to mine so I would be able to remember it.

And yes, I've given a stern warning to Willie about the risks of boozing it up while I'm gone at tbp. don't think I'll need to be locking away the wine cabinet.... :lol: :lol: :lol:

That is funny. Ours says Tarragon Kettler and I always have to give his date of birth. They look at me funny when I have to stop and think about it. He also can drink on his Lantus. There is no warning. Should he not be having that glass of wine with dinner??? :lol: Oh well, more for me! Have a great night!

hahaha that's too funny. now i have to go and check punkin's, because i have no idea what it says or if he can drink while on lantus.

back after checking - apparently punkin is my youngest child. no one knows he's a cat, or at least his prescription doesn't say so. and no, he's not supposed to have any alcoholic drinks while using lantus. just fyi. :lol:
