10/30 Simon PMPS 105 +4 101

Simon found some green last night :mrgreen: ! This morning he is looking pretty in a nice lower blue number. He is back to being very cuddly. I'm not sure what was going on with him for a few days, not wanting to be with me and just staying upstairs in the bedroom. Maybe he was not liking his higher numbers. I gave him some new food this morning, Soulistic chicken/pumpkin from Petco. After looking at the food, it may be considered mc but I don't know for sure. It is not a pate. I guess I'll be able to tell in a little bit if it causes his bg to rise.

I am helping with a trunk or treat this afternoon. I am decorating the back of my DH's pickup with Halloween decorations and dressing up as a witch and giving out candy. All the kids that come to the trunk or treat walk from one car to the other, getting candy. I just need to find a black cat to go with my outfit. Maybe Simon wouldn't mind a little hair color change :lol: Have a great day everyone!

Wish I could help with Simon's number mystery or the food. I have never heard of Trunk or treat before but it made me laugh. It sounds like fun. Good for you getting into the spirit.

Morning Georgia and Simon. Sounds like a fun day for you with the Halloween party. hmmm. . . the Soulistic chicken/pumpkin fuds sounds yummy. I hope Simon likes it. I have maggie back on Nature's Variety chicken. I tried a little NV Venison but not too much as I'm afraid to rock the boat with her numbers. Simon and Maggie are so alike with their food likes/dislikes. Have a wonderful time today and so glad Simon is back to cuddly Simon.

I asked Zener if he would like to help but he's already booked! Glad to hear Simon is getting back to his normal numbers and being cuddly.

I'm not sure about the Soulistic food. When I tested Simon at +2.5 he had risen quite a bit. He is back down now but I gave him Wellness at lunch.

Interesting about the Soulistic. When I contacted the company and got the numbers on it, I found it to be quite high. The Good Karma is 19% calories from carbs, the Sweet Salutations (that might be the chicken/pumpkin?) is 22% and the Harvest Sunrise is 24%. Their lowest one is Polynesian Picnic at 3% and Celestial Feast at 4%.

Champ likes the Soulistic foods, too, but I haven't fed it to him since the beginning of the FD dance because I didn't know the carb counts. Now that Marje has posed them, I'm glad I stopped feeding it to him!! Anything that tasty can't be all that good for you...even in the kitty world!!!
