Good Morning, Everyone,

That was quite a party last night. Rusty will give his report, below. The beans here had a great party, too, but now I'm coming down with Edward's cold!!
Rusty started the morning in green and was VERY hungry--so hungry that he kept jumping off his test site and heading into the kitchen! I finally got him to stay put for his test. Then we had a good breakfast of Wellness Turkey and a good shot (I skinny-ed the dose to a skinny 2.0 to try to head off what I think was a low --> bounce --> low --> bounce pattern developing. I hope I made the right decision!!). We were 8 cycles on the 2.0 Unit dose.

Not much planned for today. I was going to do a short hike this morning with some of our friends, but decided to stay in and see if I can't nip this cold in the bud.

Wishing everyone a good day (The Feast of All Saints),

Ella

Yo Beans! Rusty here. We had the most wonderful party last night. The party bus really rocked as we traveled from the SouthWest to the NorthEast, eating and drinking and merrymaking all the way, picking up kitties along the way and trying to guess who they were, because they were all wearing their costumes. We got to Camp Stu about an hour before midnight and enjoyed a warm fire in the fireplace and hot toddies to warm us up. Moonie got the Kitty Chorus tuned up and ready to go (lots of new members of the chorus). Chef Mannie and the Kitchen Krew worked like mad to get the foods prepared and set out. Then it was Midnight. The crescent moon was beautiful in the cold, misty air. A hush fell over the cabin. Out on the porch and by the lake the veil was very thin. We could see and hear our GAs and then the veil got thinner and thinner. There they were at the Bridge, at a beautiful table, laden with delicacies and presided over by Bear Man, resplendent in his costume and lifting his glass to all the kitties--the GAs and all of us on the other side. Stu, in his chef's outfit was making sure all the GAs had enough food on their plates. They all looked healthy and happy. I saw so many of our recently GA civvie brothers and sisters: Copper, my pal Ted, Teddi, the fabulous Butthead, Ton, Miss Emily, Mikey, Tiga, and many more. Then all of our LL GAs raised their glasses: Maverick, Sara, Emma, Jazzy, Tori, Latte, Whiskers, Kasha, Blackie, Tuscany, Boris, Buckwheat, Gandalf, Tom, Doodle, Tessie Lou, Cosmo, Tableau, Brownie, Buzz, Marco, Merlin, Meowzi, Milo, Jake, Splitzie, Cleo, Harley, Meadow, Pippin the Ferret, Tucker, and so many others (it was a long table, I couldn't see them all).
After the toasts and the joyous reunion, the Kitty Choir sang for the GAs. Gradually, the veil misted over and we could hear the GAs partying and we partied, too. It was a fabulous, magical night.

what a fabulous party report! :-D

Love the amps! but Rusty... what s up with that +3??? Back to the greens OK? Good luck with the new dose - I hope it works for him,. I know what you mean about trying to get rid of the low --> bounce --> low --> bounce pattern. Mannie was doing the same thing for a bit. Whatever happened to our stable kitties.

have a god day - and I hope you feel better!

ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!

and hope both you and Edward fell better right away, Ella... :-D

Re: 11/1 Rusty AMPS 88, +3 157, +5.5 152 (party report)

Great AMPS Rusty, but what are you doing now??? We are total experts at the low --> bounce --> low --> bounce pattern lately. I just reduced 4 cycles ago to see if I can break it. It goes against everything I think to do that, but T is obviously getting too much juice or he wouldn't go so low. It's those darn high bounces!

Hope you have a great day and pamper yourself to get rid of that cold before it really starts up.

Awesome party Rusty! Thank you so much for letting me come and tell your beans thank you for letting us use Camp Stu again. - Tarragon

Nice green start for Rusty, I hope he turns around now and can give you a nice green for his pmps. Must have been one heck of a party! Spot got home somewhere around 3:30 am and he was such a happy boy that he got to see all of his friends again. He came home and gave me so many kitty kisses my face is red! I think his brothers and sisters and his new friends had a good time too because they were sleeping so soundly when I left for work.

Hi Ella, what an awesome report. I could visualize them all with the way you had everything flowing! Ever thought about writing a story? Maggie had the bestest time ever and loved being a part of the choir led by Rusty and Moonie. She especially was moved with seeing her big bro, Mikey.
Hope you feel better, Ella, and sending some vines to help you along the way.

Re: 11/1 Rusty AMPS 88, +5.5 152, +9.5 130; party report

Hi again,
Rusty just came inside from squirrel watching and chasing (and sitting in the sunshine with me) He had his +9 snack of a few boiled chicken tidbits, and tested 130. It's nice that he's coming down gradually today. I guess I should interpret the AMPS 88 as a rising number (from what, I don't know!) and that he continued to rise until onset was underway at +5.5, and now he is falling again. We'll see where he is later.
My cold is progressing. I didn't think I would get Edward's cold.

Back later,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 11/1 Rusty AMPS 88, +5.5 152, +9.5 130; party report

Good luck on the new dose, I hope that short time on the higher one was all Rusty needed to get back on track. Like a lot of kitties Tess is sleeping away the morning, must have been a bit more that went on later! Rusty is so discreet. What a wonderful way to celebrate the lives of all our GAs.

Take care of yourself, sitting in the sun sounds like just the thing for your cold, and lots of vitamin C! Aren't our DHs so nice to share everything!

Re: 11/1 Rusty AMPS 88, +5.5 152, +9.5 130; party report

What a great AMPS for Rusty!!!! Good luck on shaving the dose...I hope it flattens him back out in green!!! NO MORE BOUNCES to all you kitties.

Rusty's report brought tears to my eyes as I envisioned all the GAs feeling well and happy and enjoying the feast that Chef Stu had made with Bear Man presiding....his beloved siblings Teddy and Miss Emily with him. Gus said that Rusty and Moonie helped him off and on the bus wherever they went.....thank you, Rusty (and sweet Moonie). Last time I checked on Gracie, she was sprawled on her back in the sunshine on the catio; Tobey is watching his bird video but he had to take numerous baths to get all the cake crumbles out of his fur and off his whiskers.

I hope you and Edward will stay in, stay warm, eat chicken soup, and feel better. I'm glad you had fun at your party!!

Re: 11/1 Rusty AMPS 88, +5.5 152, +9.5 130; party report

Oh dear, I hope you don't come down with too nasty of a cold. Please stay warm and definitely take Marje's advice and eat some chicken soup.

Rusty's AMPS was so nice to see and it looks like he is coming down again this evening. Good luck with the dose.

Thanks for the recap of the party, Rusty. What a moving tribute to all the GA kitties...sad but also happy, knowing they are all together, all sisters and brothers in spirit.

Re: 11/1 Rusty AMPS 88, +5.5 152, +9.5 130; party report

Ella,

Please pass along my thanks to Rusty for his account of the party last night. I can't tell you how much these stories lift my spirits. It is so sad to lose a kitty, but it helps so much to know that they are remembered by so many. What a beautiful tribute to the GA's that we have lost.

Re: 11/1 Rusty PMPS 117; party report

linda said it better than i could - the report from the party - what a sweet thing to remember all the little ones.

Very interesting day for Rusty today. Looks like his daytime-cycle nadir was at PMPS. And a continuation of the descent after PMPS. I hope Rusty doesn't go too low tonight and I'm glad I skinny-ed the dose today.
I feel really awful with this cold, which has really come on quickly with fever and everything. So I put more nighttime food than normal into Rusty's dish (including extra FF T&G) to keep him nibbling.

Thanks, everyone, for sending me healing vines. Now, Rusty, go into the kitchen and whip up some chicken soup!

Ni Ni,

Ella & Rusty

It sure ended up being a nice day for Rusty - love the green!

I do hope you feel better soon. The boys said they would work trough the night to make you a very special curative bowl of chicken soup!

What a wonderful party report, thanks so much! It has been a sad time in LL with so much loss recently, it helps so much to picture all the wonderful kitties at the bridge feeling good, celebrating and waiting for all of us!

Zener and Tillie had such a great time and want to say, they are so very glad they found you all, and they don't just mean for the party! :YMHUG:
